Week 4 in the 2020 NFL season is underway, after the New York Jets and Denver Broncos played a surprisingly entertaining game on Thursday Night Football. The slate now gets a lot more promising, with several high profile games on the cards including Chiefs vs. Patriots.

In addition to ATS and O/U picks, prop bets are popular throughout every NFL campaign. Among those props are anytime touchdown scorers. The questions for anyone and everyone are simple: will he or won’t he find the endzone? Let’s take a look at the three best bets to score at least one touchdown in Week 4.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts (-134)

Taylor should have a big day on the ground here. With Marlon Mack hurt he’s been getting the workhorse treatment in Indy’s backfield, and he’s going up against a Bears defense that has been one of the worst in the league at stopping the run. They gave up scores to two different Falcons running backs last week, and Taylor has touchdowns now in each of his last two games. Running behind this elite Colts offensive line, I don’t see how Taylor doesn’t end up scoring here, especially since there is no threat on the team to vulture him at the goal-line.

Scotty Miller, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+250)

This is the week Miller catches his first touchdown from Tom Brady. Brady clearly trusts the youngster, and he now has at least 73 yards in two of the Tampa Bay’s first three games. Chris Godwin is out for this game, meaning Miller will be leaned on even more heavily out of the slot. It’s great timing, since the Chargers will be missing cornerback Chris Harris Jr., one of the best in the league at covering the slot. Everything seems to be clearing in his path this week, and getting +250 provides solid value.

Keelan Cole, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (+350)

Cole has already surprised a lot of people, as he appears to be emerging as Gardner Minshew’s favorite option. He leads Jacksonville in both catches and targets, and already has two touchdowns through three games. The total on this game has been shooting up as neither defense can stop anybody at the moment, so I don’t see why this line opened so high. This Cincinnati secondary just got torched by Baker Mayfield a couple of weeks ago, and I think there’s a pretty good chance Cole finds paydirt.

What Does Anytime Touchdown Scorer Mean

Anytime Touchdown Scorer is a popular Player Prop Bet than NFL bettors will wager on throughout the season, but what is it, and how do you win?

As the name suggests, placing a wager on the Anytime Touchdown Scorer market is when you place a bet on a particular player to score a touchdown during a match. This can be a rushing or receiving touchdown for an offensive player, or you can wager on a team’s defence/special teams to score a touchdown by interception return or fumble return or kickoff and punt returns.

If your player or defence scores a touchdown, you win! The odds will differ from player-to-player depending on the sportsbooks’ calculated probability of that player scoring.

Does Anytime Touchdown Scorer Include Passing Touchdowns

It does include passing touchdowns, but only for the receiver. If Tom Brady throws a touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski, wagers placed on Rob Gronkowski Anytime Touchdown Scorer will cash, but those placed on Tom Brady Anytime Touchdown Scorer, will not. See below for more on what the Anytime Touchdown Scorer market means for Quarterbacks.

What Does Anytime Touchdown Scorer Mean For QB

The Anytime Touchdown Scorer market means something slightly different for QBs. For a wager on a QB to score a touchdown anytime to cash, they must score a rushing or receiving touchdown, with passing touchdowns only counting for the receiver.

In the age of the mobile quarterback, QBs such as Kyler Murray, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes are often seen rushing in for a touchdown on any given Sunday and don’t forget the occasional Philly Special, so QBs can be winning selections too.
