The first few weeks of the 2021 NFL season have been epic. Now we’ll be treated to another full slate this coming Sunday for Week 4. We have an interesting NFC vs AFC clash as the Minnesota Vikings host the Cleveland Browns. It’s one of the best games of the day. What better way to make this game even more exciting than by betting a same game parlay? We also have thoughts on the side and total for every Week 4 matchup, of course, which you can view in our NFL picks tab.

But let’s dive into this same game parlay:

San Francisco 49ers -6.5 (+180)

Jimmy Garoppolo over 249.5 passing yards (-113)

Under 52.5 (-120)

Same Game Parlay odds: +1251

We have a 3-leg same game parlay which pays out just north of 12/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down:

San Francisco 49ers -6.5 (+180)

The 49ers have several advantages in this game. Seattle beat a Colts team that now appears to be an absolute disaster in Week 1, and they’ve looked pretty bad ever since. Last week they lost by 13 to the Vikings, and the team appears unable to make any in-game adjustments. Which is why the Seahawks have scored a whopping zero points in the third quarter this year. San Francisco would be 3-0 if not for a heroic drive with 37 seconds left by Aaron Rodgers.

Seattle has had a lot of communication issues on defense this season, and that’s something the 49ers are poised to take advantage of. Kyle Shanahan loves to use a lot of pre-snap motion and misdirection to confuse defenses, and this Seahawks unit has proven to be very easily confused. I think we’re finally going to see some regression from the Seahawks this season after years of doing improbably well in close games.

Jimmy Garoppolo over 249.5 passing yards (-113)

If the first leg of our same game parlay cashes and the 49ers win by a touchdown or more, it’s going to be because Garoppolo had a good game. Seattle is going to sell out to stop the run here, putting more on Jimmy G’s shoulders. Despite not playing very well overall, Garoppolo has still gotten to at least 257 yards in two of his three games. In the 49ers’ big Week 1 win, he had 314 on only 25 attempts.

Seattle’s secondary is once again leaky, and they did virtually nothing to replace Shaquill Griffin after letting their top corner walk in free agency. Shanahan will have enough easy throws schemed up for Garoppolo to easily eclipse 250.

Under 52.5 (-120)

To wrap up this same game parlay, I like the under. This is a division rivalry game that both teams need like blood. After Sunday, one of the Cardinals or Rams will be 4-0. Both the Seahawks and 49ers desperately need this one to keep pace in the NFC West. Before the last drive of the game, the 49ers mostly kept Rodgers in check last week. The week before, San Francisco’s defense completely smothered Jalen Hurts. 52 points is a lot for this kind of game. Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf are both nursing injuries for the Seahawks, as is George Kittle for the 49ers.
