NFL Week 8 same game parlay (+1466 odds): New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers

Damien Harris Patriots teaser

At 4:05pm ET on Sunday afternoon, we’re going to see a great game. It’s the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. I’m in. I’ll probably be switching between this game and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints game but whatever. The point is this is a good game that needs a proper same game parlay. All we need is two legs today and I think I found the perfect ones. This is going to get good.

Damien Harris 100+ rushing yards (+270)

Damien Harris to score 2+ touchdowns (+850)

Parlay odds: +1466

Damien Harris 100+ rushing yards (+270)

Let me tell you a little bit about Damien Harris. He’s an animal. He’s gone for at least 100 rushing yards in 2 straight games now and is the featured back in New England. He would have gone for even more last week against the New York Jets but the Patriots were up so much they started spreading the ball around. That won’t happen this week. First off, the Chargers are good and I doubt the Patriots are going to boat race them. But even though they are good, if there was one thing to shake our heads about it’s their run defense. No team in the NFL is worse in terms of opponents average yards per rush than the Chargers. I think the Patriots will try to run Harris down the Chargers’ throats Sunday. Harris should see another 100-yard game.

Damien Harris to score 2+ touchdowns (+850)

This is a little out of pocket but you can’t win if you don’t bet, so there is that. Only 1 team in the NFL has given up more rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this season than the Chargers. When teams get down near the goal line, they know the easiest way to punch it in is with their running back. Only 2 players in the NFL have had more attempts from inside their opponents’ 5 yards line this season than Harris. He’s converted on 4 of 7 attempts from that range, so he seems like a guy we can trust. It’s not crazy to think Harris can score at least 2 touchdowns given the situation.
