As we prepare for a big 10-game Friday night, we’ve got 5 games on the board tonight. That’s more than enough to piece together our 3 favorite plays for a mega parlay. Today’s parlay can certainly boost your bankroll to help cover your plays all the way through the weekend. Of the 3 we hit last week, 2 of them had odds north of 10/1. You’ll notice a theme for tonight’s top plays as well. It’s not out of lack of effort, but there truly are great spots for the home teams we’ve targeted to have great games. Let’s get into our NHL mega parlay, but before we dive in, be sure to check out our NHL picks for today’s action.

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+130) over Nashville Predators

The Lightning are looking to make their 4th straight Stanley Cup Finals appearance, but need to bounce back from Tuesday night’s loss first. They get to remain at home to do so, and they’ve still looked great overall as of late. Prior to that loss, they had won 8 of their last 10, with the only 2 losses being to the Atlantic Division-leading Boston Bruins. They should be able to show off that form against the Predators tonight.

They’re certainly not a terrible team, but they’ve been far worse outside of Nashville. Goaltender Juuse Saros and the Preds’ defense is allowing the 6th-most goals per game on the road. Meanwhile, the Lightning have been striking early and often in Tampa, as they’re scoring the 3rd-most goals per game at home. They’ve proven that against the Preds specifically, as they won both meetings last season and just defeated them 3 weeks ago. That game was in Nashville, so expect an even stronger performance on home ice tonight.

Florida Panthers -1.5 (+145) over Detroit Red Wings

We’ve got another Eastern Conference team on home ice looking to avenge a recent loss. The Panthers are looking to win back-to-back Presidents’ Trophies for the NHL’s best record. They may not be on pace for that as of now, but that doesn’t mean they’re playing poorly either. Aleksander Barkov is arguably their best skater and he has missed their last several games. However, he is only listed with an “illness” so there is hope it’s nothing long-term. Even if he doesn’t return tonight, the Panthers have won 2 of their last 3 games by a final score of 5-1.

Both of those were on the road, and now they get to head back to South Beach for this matchup. Florida won all 4 matchups against the Red Wings last season, with the 3 of them by multiple goals (6-2, 6-1 and 5-2). While Detroit appears stronger than last season, they still have much of the same roster. The Panthers also have Matthew Tkachuk, who they didn’t have last season, and he’s leading the team with a whopping 35 points in 24 games. That’s tied for the 5th-most in the NHL, and he should break the tie with a few points in a Panthers win.

Dallas Stars -1.5 (+115) over Ottawa Senators

That’s right, we’re expecting another convincing win for another home team. The Stars have been a wagon this season, and just like the Lightning and Panthers, are out to avenge a recent loss. They were just embarrassed at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs and fell to 2nd in the Central Division. However, the Leafs have been the 3rd-best goaltending team in the NHL, and the Senators displayed the exact opposite of that their last time on the ice.

They were at home against the Los Angeles Kings and gave up 4 goals in the first period alone. That’s something the Stars can easily replicate. They’re scoring the 3rd-most goals per game, tied for the 3rd-most at home, and the 3rd-most in the past month. That’s largely been due to Jason Robertson having the 3rd-most points in the NHL with 41. This is also a bit of a revenge game for the Stars. One of their losses came to the Senators earlier in the year, but now in Dallas, they should flip the script and take this one by multiple goals.

Don’t miss out on our NHL player props for tonight’s action – we went 2-0 last night!
