These teams continue to trade punches both physically and metaphorically as each team’s win has been followed up by a loss. The Oilers need that trend to change if their season is going to be extended for another game. Vegas and Edmonton are extremely well acquainted now and do not like each other at all. With a season on the line for one team and a clinch possible for the other, this should be a heck of a game to watch.

Oilers -1.5 (+125)

Neither the Oilers nor Golden Knights has been able to muster up consecutive wins in this series. If that continues to be the case, then Sunday looks good for Edmonton. Both the games they have won in this series have been by multiple goals, with 5-1 and 4-1 scorelines. The Oilers are back on home ice and will give the Golden Knights their biggest push yet. If Edmonton can force a Game 7, there is a good chance they will do it in decisive fashion.

Home ice was good to the Oilers in the last couple of months of the regular season and they have won 12 out of their last 15 at home between the regular season and playoffs. What they will be anxious to correct is that 2 of those losses were in these playoffs. Look for the Oilers to feed off the home crowd and run up the score again in a win.

Both teams over 2.5 goals (+140)

In 9 games between the Golden Knights and Oilers in 2022-2023, there have been 66 goals scored. That brings their game total average to 7.33. When these teams meet, offense is usually more prominent than defense and goaltending. Getting +140 to supplement the odds of this Same Game Parlay is good value considering the results of thhe head-to-head matchups between these teams this season. The Oilers have great top-end talent offensively but have been vulnerable defensively. That is a good recipe for high totals and has been thus far.

The Oilers are in a win-or-go-home game which means they will lean on their strengths to pull out a win. Their strengths are around goalscoring. They will take some chances offensively and while that will likely leave them exposed on the defensive side of the puck, it should provide more high-percentage scoring chances. These teams will look to goalscoring to win tonight as opposed to goal prevention, which should help this pick to hit.

Leon Draisaitl anytime goalscorer (-185)

The Golden Knights have done a great job of neutralizing Leon Draisaitl over the last 3 games. He has come back down to earth a little bit with just 1 point in those games. With the Oilers in a must-win situation, Jay Woodcroft will have his best players on the ice as much as possible. Draisaitl will be one of a few Edmonton players that is likely going to be double-shifted and see a ton of ice time and he will be on a mission to reverse recent results.

Between the regular season and postseason, Draisaitl has 13 goals and 4 assists in 9 games against the Golden Knights. That is a ridiculous 1.44 goals per game from a single player against a single team. Draisaitl has also done his best work at home this season and in 40 games played each on the road and at home, he had 55 road points and 73 home points. In the playoffs, he has 4 goals and 7 points in 5 playoff games. Tonight we should expect a massive push from a massive player.
