We are coming off our best weekend of the season, going 9-2 across Saturday and Sunday’s games. That includes going a perfect 5-0 on our NFL Week 15 Sunday player props. I’m excited to close out Week 15 strong. Baker Mayfield, once again, will be starting in primetime as the Los Angeles Rams travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packer (-7). Rodgers & Co are coming off a late bye week and we’ll be seeing the weather that Green Bay football is known for: 15 degrees and 70% chance of snow this Monday night. Let’s take a look at some player props.

I wish we could watch Baker play the Raiders’ secondary every week, but sadly, it’s time to come back to reality. I mentioned the 70% chance of snow and 15-degree weather in the opener and this is where I think it plays a major factor. The Packers rank 8th in pass DVOA and allow the 3rd-fewest passing yards per game (192.9); at home, that number drops down to 166 ypg.
The Rams wide receiver corps has a tough matchup tonight in Jaire Alexander (11th overall according to PFF) and Rasul Douglas (28th overall according to PFF), which adds another hurdle for this Rams offense to get going on the road. Los Angeles ranks 5th overall in rush DVOA and should be able to keep this game close enough to prevent a negative game script that would allow Baker to hit this number. 1U

Skowronek was targeted a team-high 8 times in Baker Mayfield’s debut and finished with 7 catches. He’s listed as a wide receiver but is moved all around the field and used in multiple formations for this Rams offense. Skowronek was often the first or second read for Mayfield and I expect that to continue. While Baker’s performance last week was impressive, it’s still difficult to expect him to have mastery of the playbook after two weeks, so Skowronek should continue to see a heavy dose of target share in Monday’s matchup. 1U.
