The Giants and Commanders (-4.5) square off on Sunday night football in a battle of the 7-5-1 teams fighting for a wild-card spot. The Giants have lost 3 of the last 4 and tied the Commanders 2weeks ago. The Commanders are coming off their late bye week and have won 3 of their last 4, including a tie to the Giants. Both the teams are inverses of each other at this point in the season and we’ll see if that trend holds this Sunday night.

Terry McLaurin, WR, WAS Over 59.5 receiving yards (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

I’m prepared to be hurt again by Scary Terry. Instead of going overboard into advanced metrics, I want to keep this analysis as straightforward as possible. McLaurin had 12 targets, 8 receptions and 105 yards against the Giants 2 weeks ago. The Giants still have major question marks at cornerback and Fabian Moreau is atrocious in coverage. He is giving up 12.3 yards per reception and a passer rating of 95.3 when targeted. McLaurin has hit this in 7 of 13 games this season and EVERY GAME he has ever played against the Giants. He’s averaging 96 ypg for his career vs the G-Men and I’ll ride that wave for Sunday night. 1U.

Logan Thomas, TE, WAS Over 19.5 receiving yards (-120)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

Thomas has been quiet this season after a breakout campaign in 2021. He had 4 targets, 3 receptions and 20 yards in the Week 13 matchup vs New York, but I think it’s matchup advantage for Washington to exploit better this go-around. The Giants rank 31st in DVOA vs TEs and are giving up 11.4 yards per reception to the position group. I see Thomas getting another 4 targets Sunday night but making more out of them this second go around. 1U.
