Buffalo Bills: What will their 2020 season record be?

Buffalo Bills Josh Allen celebrating

The Buffalo Bills are wasting no time capitalizing on NFL free agency as they bolstered the offense with receiver Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings fin return for multiple draft choices, including a first-round pick. Diggs joins a young and talented Bills team off a career season totaling 63 catches for 1,130 yards and six touchdowns. Especially with Tom Brady leaving the AFC East, this is the perfect time for the Bills to go all-in. Buffalo’s odds to win the Super Bowl and AFC crown have shortened from 35-1 to 28-1 and winning the NFC from 14-1 to 12-1. So, does this new Bills offense with Josh Allen, Devin Singletary, Stefon Diggs, John Brown, Cole Beasley, and Dawson Knox have a chance to win it all in 2020? Let’s take a look at each game-by-game and predict the outcome for the Bills this upcoming season.

Away Games

Arizona Cardinals

Call me crazy, but this Cardinals team was starting to heat up late in the 2019 season. Now with Pro Bowler wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, this matchup will be no easy task. Give me the Cardinals in an upset. Loss

Denver Broncos

The Broncos are hyped for QB Drew Lock to lead them to the promised land, but you can’t reach it if the Bills are in the way. Win

Las Vegas Raiders

Derek Carr has only lost to the Bills once in his career out of three games, and there have to be a couple of upsets in any team’s schedule. Bills have a small hiccup in Sin City. Loss

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers wanted to bring in Tom Brady in the offseason showing perhaps that they do not trust Jimmy G as much as we thought. Luckily the Bills trust this new offense and leads them to a huge victory. Win

Tennessee Titans

Can the Titans duplicate their 2019 season? If they can, Buffalo might be in trouble. Buffalo recorded a win against the Tennessee last year, but that was with Marcus Mariota under center. It’s a coin flip at the moment. I lean Buffalo. Win

Miami Dolphins

Another tough divisional matchup here for the Bills as I’m a huge fan of what the Dolphins are doing with their new and improved defense. Buffalo will not have a clean sweep through the divisional games and suffer a tough game here. Loss

New England Patriots

Bold Prediction: The Bills are going to beat the Patriots not once, but twice in the 2020 season. Win

New York Jets

There is a strong chance that QB Sam Darnold might be seeing more ghosts when he takes on the Bills scary defense twice this season. Give me Buffalo. Win

Home Games

Kansas City Chiefs

The Bills have the tough task of taking on the defending champions. Even with a new loaded offense, it’s a tall task for the Bills to win this game. Loss

Los Angeles Chargers

At the moment, the Chargers currently do not have a quarterback to lead the team as QB Phillip Rivers will be joining the Colts in 2020. Los Angeles was disappointing in 2019 and will be in 2020. Win

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have been the quietest team so far in the offseason mostly due to them having absolutely zero money with all of it going to Jared Goff. Rams are heading in the opposite direction at the moment as the Bills will showcase they can take down a once top dog. Win

Seattle Seahawks

As long as Russell Wilson is leading the team, there is no guarantee of victory. However, this Buffalo team is ready to make a statement and taking down both the Rams and Seahawks is a strong message to the league. It’s a close one, but Buffalo edges Seattle. Win

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Bills barely took down the Steelers last year by the final score of 17-10. However, Pittsburgh was without their star wide receiver and quarterback. I expect Pittsburgh to turn it around in 2020 and turn the tables on Buffalo. Loss

Miami Dolphins

Even though the Dolphins defense has drastically improved this NFL free agency period, I love this matchup at home for Buffalo especially if it is early in the season. Win

New England Patriots

Without Tom Brady, the Buffalo Bills are going to finally enjoy success against the Patriots and there are rumors that they might throw Bill Belichick through a table. Win

New York Jets

In hindsight, you could combine both the Jets and Giants and they would not overtake the Bills. Buffalo is going to run through this division. Win

Taking an early look at the 2020 Buffalo Bills season, I have them finishing with an 11-5 record. In 2019 they finished with a 10-6 record and finished 2nd in the division. In 2020, they will finally own the AFC East crown. Even though we are only a couple of days into the NFL free agency, do you agree with these early game-by-game predictions?
