We’ve been having great success with our football same game parlays, and now we’ll try our luck with the first official Pickswise baseball same game parlay. The World Series will reconvene for Game 3 here as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays are knotted at one game apiece.

FanDuel is now offering same game parlays, which are great because you can stack bets that are highly correlated and therefore present value. We’ll be breaking down our favorite one for Friday night, which has the potential for a huge payout. You can also check out our full preview of the game, which includes picks on the side and total.

Los Angeles Dodgers -3.5 alternate run line (+290)

Walker Buehler over 7.5 strikeouts (+106)

Mookie Betts to record 2+ hits (+240)

Parlay odds: +1855

I’m expecting the Dodgers to have a big day, and if they do then these highly correlated plays could easily hit and pay us nearly 19/1.

Los Angeles Dodgers -3.5 alternate run line

I think the Dodgers are going to bounce back in a big way, and outside of a handful of inning against former Cy Young winner Blake Snell, the offense has looked great in this series. They put up eight runs in the first game of this series, and it wouldn’t shock me if they eclipsed that total here. With Buehler on the mound the Rays could easily not score at all here, so I don’t think covering a 3.5 run spread is actually all that much to ask.

They won the first game of this series by five. The Dodgers have the highest offensive upside of any team in the league and had by far the best run differential in the majors this year, so they’re exactly the type of team I like to back on an alternate run line because they can get hot in a hurry. They’re getting to face 36-year-old Charlie Morton, who had a 4.74 ERA this season, so the lineup could be in for a monster game.

Walker Buehler over 7.5 strikeouts

If the Dodgers win by more than three runs, then guess who probably had a pretty good day? Buehler is always an excellent strikeout pitcher, and he’s had his best stuff during these playoffs. In 19 postseason innings so far, he has a whopping 26 strikeouts. Twice recently he has racked up eight strikeouts while pitching only four innings, so we don’t even need him to go too deep into this game to cash this one.

That being said, I think Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is going to leave him out there for a while, giving us more chances to cash this over. Los Angeles burned through a good amount of their relievers during their bullpen day on Wednesday, and I think they’re hoping Buehler can eat up as many innings as possible here. The Rays also struck out more than any other team during the regular season, so this is a great matchup for these kind of props.

Mookie Betts to record 2+ hits

If the Dodgers are winning by four-plus runs, that means Betts also likely had a great game. The star outfielder bats leadoff, giving us a maximum amount of tries to cash this. A multi-hit game certainly wouldn’t be unusual for the leader of this team, and in fact he has had multiple hits in three of his past five games. I expect him to bounce back from his rare hitless game on Wednesday, and he should come out extra motivated for this one. Betts also hits right-handers like Morton much better than he does lefties like Snell, which explains his down game on Wednesday. He had an OPS of 1.061 against right-handers this year.
