Tuesday NHL three-team mega parlay (+1154 odds): McDavid and Oilers look to remain hot

Connor McDavid will look to steal the headlines once again as his Oilers conclude a six-game slate in the NHL on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, a classic rivalry gets the night started as Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby takes on Alex Ovechkin in Washington.

Washington Capitals ML over Pittsburgh Penguins (-120)

This rivalry never seems to get old as, Crosby and Ovechkin will square off for the fifth time this season. With these two teams so evenly matched, home ice may prove to be crucial for this one. The Penguins took three of the first four meetings this season, but all four games were in Pittsburgh. The Penguins are a terrible 2-5-1 on the road, while the Capitals have earned a 6-3-1 record on home ice. Look or the Capitals to play with more urgency than the Penguins as they aim to get revenge on their rival Penguins. The Capitals second ranked power-play could be a key part in the win, as the Penguin have only killed off 74 percent of their penalties this year.

Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin (8) celebrates with teammates after scoring a goal against the Philadelphia Flyers in the second period at Capital One Arena.

Detroit Red Wings ML over Nashville Predators (+140)

Both the Nashville Predators and Detroit Red Wings have gotten off to disappointing starts to the season to say the least. Each team comes into this game riding a bit of momentum coming off respective wins, but a deeper look shows us that they have each only won three games in their last 10. It should come as no surprise that these two teams have a firm hold on the basement of the Central Division. This will be the second two-game series of the year between the clubs, with the first one being split one game apiece in Nashville. The one edge the Red Wings do have is that the Predators have only won twice on the road in eight games this year. It certainly seems like either team has an equal chance to win this game, so take the value on the home underdog and give your parlay a nice boost.

Edmonton Oilers PL over Vancouver Canucks (+185)

The Edmonton Oilers have won three games in a row and six of their last seven games thanks to the heroics of McDavid. He is coming off a five-point performance on Saturday as he started the night off with two assists before casually adding a natural hat-trick in the Oilers’ 7-1 victory. Vancouver will likely have no answers at slowing down McDavid, whose 37 points know lead the league by a seven-point margin. The Canucks are coming off a tough loss in which they blew a two-goal lead and ended up surrendering over three goals yet again. Vancouver is the most penalized team in the league, which is a recipe for disaster as Edmonton has one of the best power-plays in the league. The last time these two teams played Edmonton won 5-2 thanks to yet another hat-trick from Mr. McDavid.
