About Last Night

Amazing night of NBA picks
The Pickswise NBA team were on fire with their picks for Tuesday’s slate, going 15-5 overall with a 7-3 night on ATS picks and 8-2 on totals (taking us to 12-2 on over/under picks over the last 2 days!). The Bucks won their 15th straight game, beating the Nets 118-104 to move ahead of the Celtics in the race for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

7-3 day in the NHL
It was also a tremendous Tuesday for our NHL team, who cashed 7 of our 10 NHL picks, including our Best Bet of under 5.5 goals in the Islanders vs Wild game, which Minnesota won 2-1 after a shootout. The Senators achieved an NHL regular-season first in their 6-1 win over the Red Wings, scoring a power-play goal, a short-handed goal, an even-strength goal and a penalty goal in the same period.

College hoops upsets
Marquette, Virginia, Kansas and Tennessee were among the college basketball winners on Tuesday night, but Indiana lost by 22 as a 5.5-point favorite against Iowa and San Diego State was beaten by Boise State.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAB: Georgetown Hoyas +18.5 over Creighton Bluejays
8:30 pm ET, FS1

Georgetown keeps showing up and playing hard and is a very respectable 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games, including a 63-53 home loss to Creighton a month ago, when the Hoyas hung on to cover as 13-point underdogs. The Hoyas are a tremendous 7-1 ATS in their last 8 when underdogs of 10 or more points. The Bluejays have dropped 3 of their last 4 games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 outings. Georgetown isn’t at all likely to go to Omaha and win, but the Bluejays shouldn’t slam the Hoyas by 20 or more points either. Read our full Georgetown vs Creighton predictions.
