About Last Night
Nuggets lose third straight game
The Nuggets still have a comfortable 5-game lead at the top of the NBA Western Conference but they lost their third straight game last night, 122-120 at home to the Nets. In the East, the 76ers made it 5 wins in a row with a 112-93 victory over the Wizards.
Bruins beaten by Red Wings
The Bruins apparently eased off the gas immediately after clinching an NHL playoff spot, losing 5-3 to the Red Wings on Sunday. The Devils shut out the Hurricanes in a 3-0 win, while the Jets beat the Lightning 3-2.
Cougars favorites for NCAA Tournament
Before the NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed, there was action on the court, with Memphis upsetting Houston in the AAC Championship and Purdue holding off Penn State to win the Big Ten Final 67-65. Best Bet of the Day
NBA: Phoenix Suns +4.5 over Golden State Warriors
10:00 pm ET, ESPN
The Suns head to Chase Center leading the regular-season series against the Warriors 3-0 and they have gone 4-1 ATS in the teams’ last 5 meetings. The Warriors ended a mini 3-game slide with a home win over the Bucks, which was their 28th win in 35 home games this season. The Suns are still without Kevin Durant, but they still have a formidable team that can beat anyone. In their last visit to the Warriors, they won by 12 points and they could lose by 4 tonight and still cover. Check out our full Suns vs Warriors predictions.
