Good morning Pickswise Nation and welcome to Wise n’ Shine, your one-stop shop for everything you need to know to bet better today!

It’s an NFL Sunday after another great day of college football and we also have a strong MLB slate and EPL soccer to provide top-quality sports entertainment. Let’s get straight to it!

About Last Night

MLB Mega Parlay’s mega run continues
We’re on  a stunning run of success with our mega parlays. John Hyslop cashed the mega parlay on Monday at 11/1, Andrew Ortenberg did it on Wednesday at 13/1, and yesterday Ricky Dimon did it again at 12/1 as the Dodgers -2.5, Rockies ML, and Phillies -1.5 brought it home for us. You won’t want to miss today’s mega parlay, which has odds of +1667!

Crimson Tide given a fright by Florida
Alabama was given a real scare by Florida on Saturday, hanging on to win 31-29 but falling a long way short of covering the 14-point spread. The Crimson Tide remain +200 favorites for the National Championship with FanDuel Sportsbook, but Georgia, which beat South Carolina 40-13, is now +250. The Bulldogs can still be had at +330 with DraftKings Sportsbook, which has Alabama at +175. Check out Ricky Dimon’s take on what we saw in College Football Week 3.

Today’s Slate

NFL Week 2 dominates the day
Kansas City against Baltimore on Sunday Night Football tops tonight’s card, but before then we’ve got some great games to enjoy include Patriots vs Jets, Rams vs Colts, Bills vs Dolphins, and Titans vs Seahawks. Check out our great NFL Week 2 betting guide, which acts as a hub to access all our parlays, picks, previews, and prop bets for today’s games.

There’s MLB and soccer action too
We’ve got a full 15-game MLB slate including Phillies vs Mets on ESPN at 7 pm ET. Check out our picks for all today’s MLB action here. The Sunday EPL schedule is headed by Tottenham vs Chelsea at 11.30 am ET. You can read all today’s EPL and MLS picks here.

Best Bet of the Day

Philadelphia Eagles +3 vs San Francisco 49ers
1pm ET

The Eagles are not getting any respect, but this team is actually good. Sure they played the Falcons, but they played them in Atlanta and they blew them out. That’s what good teams do to bad teams. This week they will be in front of their home crowd for the first time in a while and they may even win straight up. Take the points just to be on the safe side, though. Check out all today’s NFL best bets.

Must-watch

The Week 2 episode of our weekly NFL show Pickswise Playbook is available now with Chris Rose, Ross Tucker and Jared Smith breaking down all this week’s games. And don’t forget to look out for the latest episode of our great new daily betting show Let’s Bet It later today.

Check out both shows on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/c/Pickswise.

Must-read

Our Man vs Machine NFL picks started out with both the human and computer handicapper in profit in Week 1, so feel free to take your pick of which of them to tail today! We also have NFL Week 2 Survivor Pool advice and look out for the Week 2 picks in our Pickswise Pro Football Capper Contest, which will be published at 9am ET.

Stat of the Day

The New England Patriots have won their last 10 games against the New York Jets. The Jets’ last win against the Pats was a 26-20 overtime success in December 2015.

Boost of the day

Both the Cardinals and Chiefs to win in Week 2

FanDuel Sportsbook has boosted the odds of this 2-team NFL parlay from +125 to +170. It simply needs the Patriots to beat the Jets and the Chiefs to beat the Ravens.
