Cowboys vs Giants Same Game Parlay: Best SGP Picks
Sunday Night Football in Week 1 in the 2026 NFL regular season pits the Dallas Cowboys againts the NFC East rival New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Both teams are hoping to bounce back this year after missing the playoffs in 2025.
Here is my Same Game Parlay for the festivities, which get underway at 8:20 pm ET on NBC. Also be sure to check out our full Cowboys vs Giants predictions.
Cowboys -3 (-105)
Javonte Williams to record 80+ rushing yards (+105)
Jaxson Dart to record 240+ passing yards (+183)
Parlay odds: +700
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Dallas running back Javonte Williams racking up his fair share of rushing yards would obviously work well with a Cowboys win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing New York quarterback Jaxson Dart to throw for a bunch of yards. But even he does, there is no reason why the visitors can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs.
Cowboys -3 (-105)
Dallas has had New York’s number throughout the Dak Prescott era – at least when Prescott, himself, is on the field. If you discount Week 18 of last season (Prescott started, but Joe Milton played much of what was a meaningless game for both teams), the Mississippi State product is on a 12-game winning streak against the Giants. More of the same should be in store for Week 1 of the 2026 campaign. Although the G-Men have made some improvements defensively, the visitors should still have their way on offense. Prescott passed for 4,552 yards last year, 1,429 of which went to Georgia Pickens. The UGA product on one side and CeeDee Lamb on the other simply seems like an unfair fight for opposing defenses. New York’s D boasts a stout front seven, but it’s hard to trust that unit until it actually steps up the plate in this particular matchup. On the other side of the ball, additions for head coach Brian Schottenheimer include rookie safety Caleb Downs (#11 overall pick), edge rusher Rashan Gary, linebacker Dee Winters, safety Jalen Thompson, cornerback Cobie Durant and defensive tackle Otito Ogbonnia.
Javonte Williams to record 80+ rushing yards (+105)
Led by Williams, Dallas ranked eighth in the NFL in yards per carry last season. New York was saddled with one of the two worst rushing defenses in 2025, as it surrendered the second-most rushing yards per game (145.3) on the highest yards-per-carry average (5.3). In a Week 2 head-to-head showdown, Williams carried 18 times for 97 yards and a TD. The former UNC standout finished the year with a 1,201 yards on 252 attempts, good for a 4.8 average.
Jaxson Dart to record 240+ passing yards (+183)
Dart exceeded this number three times in the last nine games of the 2025 campaign, and that was without WR1 Malik Nabers. With a year of experience under his belt and Nabers back from a torn ACL, Dart should make some serious strides in 2026. Odell Beckham Jr.’s return to this franchise will provide some leadership in the wide receiver room, while former Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely signed as a free agent. With plenty of weapons around him and a new head coach in John Harbaugh at the helm, Dart should be able to build on his encouraging effort as a rookie. Keep in mind that even though Dallas’ defense should be an improved unit, that is not saying a lot. It was by far the worst unit against the pass, allowing 251.5 yards per contest on 8.1 yards per attempt to go along with 35 touchdowns given up compared to only six interceptions.
