Atlanta Braves vs Seattle Mariners Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 05/06/26

The Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners finish off a series on Wednesday afternoon. They have split the series so far, trading one-run victories. Last night, the Braves got a 9th inning home run from Matt Olson off Andres Munoz. It is not often that we catch plus money on the team with the best record in baseball, and even more rare when they have just beaten the other team’s close the night before. I am taking the Braves on the money line.

The pitching matchup is the reason the Mariners are favored, as they hand the ball to Bryan Woo. Woo carried the M’s for much of last year, but he has been shaky of late. In fact, he has allowed 13 runs in his last two starts. Atlanta will go with Martin Perez. The 35-year old soft-tosser is entirely unexciting, but he keeps giving the Braves 5 solid innings every turn through the rotation. It’s not like the Seattle offense is raking, and the Braves just got to the Seattle bullpen. It sure seems like the Braves are just rolling right now, and I am happy to take them.
