The New York Yankees face the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend in a series played in Milwaukee. The Yankees just keep on piling up wins, tied with the Cubs and Braves for the most in the league. The Brewers are playing well too, especially as they navigate some key injuries. They are still missing Yelich, but they did get Jackson Chourio back this week, and he has returned with a scorching 6-for-10 start to his campaign. Today, we get 2 great starters on the mound in Max Fried and Jacob Misiorowski. This is probably a coin-toss game, but I am siding with the Yankees to keep grabbing wins.

Fried has been interesting this year. He has an ERA below 3.00, but he has been up and down a bit. He has held opponents scoreless in half of his starts, and in the other half, he has given up 3 or more — nothing in between. The Mis, of course, is a strikeout machine who sometimes gives up long balls. Both bullpens are good, so this might come down to who can scratch out a couple of early runs. I’ll take my chances with the Yankees blasting a couple homers early, while Fried keeps the ball on the ground. Give me the Yankees.
