I favor the Tampa Bay Rays over the Cleveland Guardians in their matchup on Wednesday. Tampa Bay is set to start Drew Rasmussen who enters this game in terrific form. The right-hander has allowed no more than 2 earned runs in any of his 4 starts so far this month, totaling 23.1 innings with just 3 combined earned runs surrendered. Rasmussen commands the zone very well and forces opposing lineups to win within the zone. Cleveland has a decent offensive unit, but it is not one that scares me away from backing Rasmussen in current form.

Slade Cecconi is set to start this game for Cleveland, and while I like the pitcher overall, he is not in his best form. Cecconi has allowed a 6.86 ERA in 19.2 innings so far this month, having allowed 5 earned runs to the White Sox and 6 more to the Braves in back-to-back starts. With how Junior Caminero is swinging the bat, I find that to be a tough matchup for Cecconi, and I side with the Rays grabbing a win.
