In what is the biggest match-up of the College Football season, the 2nd-ranked LSU Tigers visits Tuscaloosa for a showdown with rival and 3rd-ranked Alabama. Behind a duel of Heisman hopefuls as the Tigers, Joe Burrow will look to outperform the Crimson Tides’ Tua Tagovailoa. In what is most likely the division deciding game of the season for both teams and could result in a big upset, for either team. This is one of our biggest College Football Picks in week 11 and there are plenty of big prop bets to back this weekend. So here is a look at the five prop bets for LSU vs. Alabama you should be putting on your betting slip.

Joe Burrow to have more passing yards -150

Both quarterbacks in this match-up have established themseleves as frontrunners in the 2019 Heisman race, but with Tua coming off an injury, an edge to Joe Burrow to continue to show that he is the best quarterback in college football right now doesn’t seem out of the question. His 372.8 passing yards per game average can attest to this Prop bet.

First Team to Score: Alabama -135

Both teams enter this week 11 match-up scoring points almost at will. Alabama has scored some huge wins all season, en route to an average of 48.6 points per game. The Tigers are no pushover offensively as they average nearly 47 points per game. The Crimson Tide has been able to score first in seven of their eight games this season, the lone game they failed to score first was against Texas A&M. With both teams being almost unstoppable offensively, this could become a shootout quickly. Yet both teams pride themseleves on defense, which is why a field goal could be what opens the scoring. Regardless, the Crimson Tide should have the best shot to open the scoring.

Total Points First Half Under 31 -115

Alabama has scored at least 17 points in just the first half, of each of their games this season. Joe Burrow and the LSU offense, has been explosive but they are coming off their lowest point production of the season, against the Auburn Tigers who they scored just 23 points against. Alabama has held an opponent to 10 points or fewer in four of their eight games this season. None of which were against teams of LSU’s level. The defense of both teams might be the key to not only this prop bet but help our College Football Best Bet cashing in.

Tua Tagovailoa 4+ Passing Touchdowns -164

Tua wasn’t able to go in Alabama’s win over Arkansas as he was dealing with an ankle injury, so his last game action was against Tennessee, and boy did he struggle. As he was held to his lowest passing yards total of the season with just 155 yards through the air. He also failed to pass for a touchdown for the first time all season. Tagovailoa has thrown for at least three touchdowns in every game prior. That includes a six-touchdown performance against Ole Miss. Regardless of the injury, Tua is a threat to throw multiple touchdowns every time he steps on the field.

Will the Loser still make the CFP, Yes +300

Isn’t this suppose to be the major playoff deciding match-up. In theory, it is, but will the team that survives this match-up be the best team in the country in the coming weeks. If this game comes down to the wire, couldn’t the loser still be in position for the College Football Playoffs? A lot would have to happen elsewhere for both teams from the SEC West to make the CFP. We have already seen two SEC teams make the playoff in the same season, and as the current rankings stand there are two SEC teams and two Big Ten teams sitting in the top four. That can all change in this match-up. Even with a close loss for LSU, they could still make the playoff with their remaining schedule, while a loss for Alabama all but eliminates them. Which is why I like an Alabama win, here to force more chaos among the selection committee.
