Best CFB player prop for the Week 10 slate: Willis goes off

CFB player prop

Let me start by saying there is a 0% chance that we should let this slide. I’m a big Malik Willis guy. Maybe the biggest. So when I log into DraftKings and go to the CFB player props section, I expect to see big numbers next to Malik Willis’ name. Why wouldn’t I? His pass yard prop in a game that might see a bazillion points should be at least 300. His rushing number should have 3 digits. That’s his floor people. So when I saw what DraftKings put out today, I had to bet it. I was no other choice.

On top of this article, you should definitely check out our CFB expert picks for the action today. It’s just a smart thing to do. Also, bets can be added to the card, so why not follow me on Twitter in case we get some last-second action? Things change all day with CFB games so there is a chance for opportunity to knock.

CFB Player Prop – Malik Willis over 48.5 rushing yards (-115)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

I’m only seeing this 1 at DraftKings but I’m sure the others will be along shortly. I doubt they’ll post a number this bad so we might as well get down now. It’s not every day that you see a CFB player prop line at least 50 yards off. When you do, you have to jump on it. These are rules the first gamblers figured out early. We’re talking first day stuff here.

Malik Willis started the season by covering this number 8 times in a row. The kid ran for 157 yards in a game already this season. He had another 144 in a different game. So what he hasn’t covered this number in each of the last 2 games. We should thank him for that since that’s probably why this line isn’t 100.

This game is the biggest of Willis’ life. He doesn’t get to play SEC opponents every week. He also doesn’t get to play teams that his head coach got fired from every week either. On top of the revenge/big game narrative, you can also wonder why Ole Miss would even care about this game. It’s right after Auburn and right before Texas A&M. How the hell do you get up for Liberty if you’re Ole Miss? I think this bet is going to be the easiest win of all of our entire gambling careers.
