We have a small 7-game MLB slate on Monday, June 10, but we still have loads of MLB player prop bets to evaluate. I’ve combed through each matchup today and have come up with my 2 favorite MLB player prop bets for Monday’s action, which includes backing one of the most feared hitters in baseball. You can also find out our MLB picks for each of today’s big matchups, but for now, let’s dive into my best MLB player prop bets.

Yordan Alvarez (HOU) Over 1.5 hits+runs+RBIs (-125)

Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Yordan Alvarez’s power was on full display this past weekend. He totaled 5 hits in 3 games, including a monster home run on Saturday night. Those 5 hits all came on Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday, Alvarez was walked twice. Tonight, against the San Francisco Giants and LHP Kyle Harrison, we will be laying a full unit on Yordan Alvarez over 1.5 hits+runs+RBIs while adding .25u on him to walk for +175 at BetMGM.

Kyle Harrison of the Giants continues to trend downward. He’s allowed at least 3 earned runs in 5 games while allowing 20 hits combined in his last 2 starts. The Houston Astros’ offense against LHP hasn’t been stellar this season, but we’re locking in on Alvarez and the lineup around him to excel. Alvarez will most likely be sandwiched between Alex Bregman and Jeremy Pena. Bregman, in particular, has been hitting .385 against LHP over his last two weeks.

Alex Bregman (HOU) Over 1.5 hits+runs+RBIs (-135)

Line available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

I’m scaling down to .50u for this Alex Bregman player prop bet. Most of the time, these player prop bets correlate, so we’ll limit our usage. Nonetheless, as we dove in above, Bregman has been a lefty killer. He’s cashed in on this prop in his last 9 games and is 17/31 on the road. With Kyle Harrison’s prop lines insinuating that he’s in for a rough outing, I expect Bregman and Alvarez to be the main culprits of the slaughtering.
