Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. In the regular season, I recorded 259 wins and 167 losses for a gain of +36.5 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Game 3 of the World Series!

Bryce Harper (Phillies) over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Bryce Harper saw his hit streak end at 11 games on Saturday night against Framber Valdez and the Houston Astros bullpen. Tonight, he looks to revitalize the Philadelphia Phillies offense that only mustered 3 hits through 6 innings in Game 2.

Right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. will get the ball for the Astros and he’s been sensational in limited action this season. In 8 starts in the regular season, McCullers had a 2.27 ERA which included 6 innings of 1-run baseball against the Philadephia Phillies in their last series of the season. McCullers did let up 3 runs and 8 hits against the New York Yankees in the ALCS and is currently on over a week’s worth of rest.

In that showdown against the Phillies at the beginning of October, Harper roped a single to deep center field in a 3-2 count against McCullers in the top of the 4th inning. Harper hit .300 against right-handed pitching in the regular season and has put together one of the most dominant postseasons we’ve seen from a hitter in recent memory.

Aside from the hits, Harper has scored a run in 7 of his last 10 games and 5-hole hitter Nick Castellanos is finally starting to heat up. He’s recorded a hit in 4 of his last 5 games including 2 hits to start the World Series. If Harper can put together a hit early, look for Castellanos or Alec Bohm to drive him in and cash this prop.

Bryce Harper (Phillies) 2+ hits (+370)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

It’s tough enough to get a hit off the best pitching staff in baseball but to hit 2 would be impressive. But Harper has been too hot not to play this for at least .25 of a unit. He recorded 2 hits in Game 1 and had 3 2-hit games in the NLCS series against the San Diego Padres.

Bryce Harper OR J.T. Realmuto to record a Double (+210)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This one is a DraftKings exclusive. You can find this under the “Batter Props” tab and scroll down to the bottom under “Batter Combos-Doubles”. Again, this is playable for no more than .25 of a unit.

Both of these guys are hot at the plate and are aggressive on the base pads. The two have combined for 7 doubles during their postseason run and are seeing the ball extremely well. Both Harper and Realmuto registered 1 hit off McCullers earlier this month in 3-2 counts. McCullers let up 2 doubles against the Yankees in his last start and tends to find himself in deep counts where he needs to find the strike zone.
