Clippers vs Pacers NBA best bet: Pacers +9.5 (-114)
Before the season is over, the Pacers have 5 home games left. I see them winning at least 1 of those. Friday could be the ideal opportunity, as the other 4 teams they are facing are Miami, Minnesota, Philadelphia and Detroit. They put up 130 on the Lakers and 128 points on the Magic in their last 2 games. Let’s hope they can get a positive result tonight.

Heat vs Cavaliers NBA best bet: Cavaliers -5 (-106)
This is a good revenge spot for the Cavaliers. It’s hard to imagine a team led by Harden and Mitchell having consecutive bad offensive games against the same opponent. The Cavs are 7-2 SU in the last 9 meetings, and Miami’s collapse in the third quarter tells us it still has issues despite ending its losing streak on Wednesday.

Hawks vs Celtics NBA best bet: Hawks +5 (-114)
Atlanta will be encouraged following its OT win at Detroit earlier this week. The Hawks have now won 14 of 15 games, while in head-to-head meetings they are also 5-2 SU in the last 7 and have covered in 6 of the last 8 against Boston. In their last 5 visits to TD Garden, they Hawks are 5-1 ATS.

Bulls vs Thunder NBA best bet: Bulls +20.5 (-114)
I am not a big fan of backing teams to blow out opponents just like that. As bad as the Bulls have been, it’s kind of disrespectful to have them as +20.5 underdogs. They lost the first meeting by only 8 points in early March, while in their last 5 games overall they have scored 130+ points 3 times.

Rockets vs Grizzlies NBA best bet: Jabari Smith over 14.5 points (-112)
Jabari Smith is averaging 16.5 points per game over his last 10 outings while shooting an efficient 45.5% from the field. That’s not too bad for only the fourth scoring option on this Rockets team. He has cleared this line 7 times in the last 10 games, and the Grizzlies aren’t in the best of shapes defensively. They allow the fifth-most points to opposing PFs this season and the eighth-most points overall as a team.

Pelicans vs Raptors NBA best bet: Under 228.5 (-110)
These are 2 teams that love to put in the effort on the defensive end. The under has cashed 13 times in 19 games for Toronto and in 6 of 8 for the Pelicans. This bet has also returned a profit 4 times in 5 meetings at Scotiabank Arena and also in 8 of the last 12 meetings overall.

Jazz vs Nuggets NBA best bet: Aaron Gordon 2+ made threes (-147)
The Nuggets would be smart to get Aaron Gordon going offensively. They won’t get too many opportunities to play tanking teams until the season is over. Utah allows the most threes as a team this season, and Gordon has cleared this line 3 times in his last 5 games.

Wizards vs Warriors NBA best bet: Kristaps Porzingis Over 18.5 Points (-114)
Porzingis went hard the last time he played his former team, scoring 30 points on an efficient 8-for-13 from the field. He has cleared this line in 3 of 4 meetings with the Wizards. Golden State needs a big game from him to get an important win.

Mavericks vs Trail Blazers NBA best bet: Jerami Grant over 17.5 points (-135)
Grant has been cooking on offense lately, scoring at least 18 points 13 times in 20 games. He should deliver another high-scoring performance against the tanking Mavs, who allow the seventh-most points to opposing PFs this season and also rank seventh in points allowed as a team.

Nets vs Lakers NBA best bet: Nets +16.5 (-112)
The Lakers are coming back home following a 2-week trip on which they went 5-1 SU. Luka Doncic is questionable to play; so are Marcus Smart and Rui Hachimura. The Nets — although pretty bad at the moment — have been on the West Coast for a while now and they just gave the Warriors a hard time, losing only by 3 points. If Doncic doesn’t play, the Nets could make the Lakers’ lives a bit difficult.
