The NBA action is underway and the drama continues. Thursday offers a modest 4-game slate that features the defending champs in action, along with the dynasties of old. Headlining the slate this evening, a cross-conference showdown between two of the game’s most decorated stars: Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokuonmpo. Warriors vs. Bucks is the marquee match-up, but all 4 games offer opportunities. Let’s get into it!

You can find out our NBA picks for all of tonight’s matchups along with EVERY GAME this season, but for now, here are tonight’s NBA best bets for every game on Thursday’s menu.

Charlotte Hornets ML over Orlando Magic (+125)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing

The Magic continue their against-the-spread skid, extending their record to 0-5 against the number. Last night’s loss against the Pistons did not help their cause. The Magic fell by 19 to Detroit despite laying a point to the Pistons heading into the contest. Now, the Magic are laying even more points to the Hornets here on a back-to-back. Instinct would dictate to stick with the Magic, but Orlando has won 9 of the last 10 against Charlotte. What looks like a get-right spot for the Magic is a prime opportunity for the Swarm to finally notch a win in the Queen City. Hornets outright.

Washington Wizards +15.5 over Oklahoma City Thunder (-110)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing

This line is inflated on perception. Oklahoma City is the defending champion, undefeated at 5-0, and looks every bit like the juggernaut they were last season. The public wants to back them every night, and sportsbooks know it. That’s why this number sits at 15.5 — you’re paying premium tax on the Thunder name. Washington, on the other hand, is priced like the same doormat from last year, but they’re better — deeper, more cohesive, and more competitive. Their collapse against Philadelphia on Tuesday burned bettors and soured sentiment even further. That’s precisely why the value now exists.

Milwaukee Bucks ML over Golden State Warriors (+120)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing

It’s easy to pull the trigger on the Warriors here, as they have had Milwaukee’s number lately. Golden State has asserted dominance in this series recently, winning 3 in a row against the Deer outright and amassing a 5-game cover spree against Milwaukee dating into 2024-25 campaign. However, the Bucks are playing this one in the Cream City, where they are known for their strong home-court presence. Given the fact that Golden State is only laying a basket to the Bucks in Milwaukee, it says live home dog. Bucks outright.

Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs Over 232.5 (-110)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing

It’s hard to pick a side here given the fact that both teams are playing above their perceived station. This is the case of an immovable object against an unstoppable force. Presently, the Spurs are the best defensive team in the NBA and they like to slow things down. The Heat on the contrary, run the floor and have eclipsed 140 points in 2 of their last 3 outings. Will they score 140 against the Spurs? Probably not. Will the Spurs get chances to score on Miami? Yes, even if their approach is slow and methodical. If Miami gets held to 120 points, which is tenable, this ticket still cashes easily. Play the Over.
