Luck wasn’t on our side yesterday as my +993 odds NBA Mega Parlay was just 2 points short in the Minnesota vs Houston game. Saturday gives us another opportunity to redeem ourselves with a mini 4-game slate coming our way. I’ve picked out my 3 favorite teams, continue reading below to see them.

Check out our NBA predictions page for picks on the side and total for Saturday’s games.

Now let’s dive into my bet!

BOS Celtics -5.5 (-108)

Under 238.5 Points in Knicks vs Wizards (-110)

HOU Rockets ML (+194)

Parlay odds: +980

BOS Celtics -5.5 (-108)

The Celtics home win streak was never in danger last night as they ran past the Utah Jazz 126-97. Tonight they head into Indiana for a date with the Pacers, this will be the 3rd meeting of the season. Both teams played last night, the Celtics are 4-1 SU in this scenario with no rest so they’ll be optimistic ahead of this game. Their last visit to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse ended in a 10-point defeat, so there’s also the revenge factor involved here.

Indiana is also coming off a win last night as they destroyed the Hawks 150-116 in a game in which they set a franchise record for assists racking up 50 of them. I’m curious to see how their offense does tonight against the team with the 2nd best defensive rating, after putting up 150 points on the team with the 28th best. Boston is 7-1 SU in their last 8 while the Pacers are on a run of 6 wins in a row. It could be a close one, but I’m going to side with the team that plays defense here.

Under 238.5 Points in Knicks vs Wizards (-110)

I had the Knicks to win at Philly last night in my NBA Mega Parlay and they fully delivered in a 36-point win. Their defense has been nothing but spectacular over the past 3 games since they’ve acquired OG Anunoby, opponents have averaged just 99.3 points per game against them during that stretch. The under has been a consistent bet lately with 4 of the last 5 Knicks games cashing on it.

Head-to-head meetings have also been profitable on the under with 5 of the 7 most recent have all cashed. The last 10 games are averaging 220.7 points per game, the two teams already played in this building in mid-November and it finished 120-99 Knicks. I feel like New York will try to slow the tempo down here as they’ll be playing their 2nd game in 2 nights, Washington just scored 90 points in the loss to Cleveland, prior to that they put up just 101. I’ll go with the under here.

HOU Rockets ML (+194)

And finally to close things out I have the Houston Rockets beating the Milwaukee Bucks on their home court for a bit of a odds boost. Even though they lost last night to Minnesota, the Rockets are still a formidable 14-6 SU at the Toyota Center. They are one of the rare teams left in the NBA that actually tries on defense, only the Minnesota Timberwolves allow fewer points per game at home this season.

Milwaukee is coming off a win over San Antonio, but they failed to cover the spread as 11.5-point favorites. Their defense is one of the worst in the NBA, ranking 22nd in defensive efficiency and that’s the main issue they’ve had all season. Playing no defense will cost them come playoff time, we just saw the Indiana Pacers beat them in back-to-back games because of that. Houston is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings at Toyota Center, so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and back them to win outright here.
