A total of 12 teams will hit the NBA hardwood this Tuesday and we have a delicious NBA TV doubleheader coming our way. The Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls start us off as Joel Embiid makes his return. After that, it’s the Orlando Magic and Golden State Warriors battling for supremacy at Chase Center. I’ve prepared a 3-team NBA mega parlay for tonight’s action, but you can also find out our NBA predictions for today’s games.

Bulls +10.5 (-110)

Nets ML (+215)

Thunder +3 (-112)

NBA parlay odds: +1038

Chicago Bulls +10.5 over Philadelphia 76ers (-110)

At 4-10 SU, the Chicago Bulls aren’t exactly one of the elite road teams we have in the NBA, but one of those 4 wins was in Philadelphia a little over 2 weeks ago. The Bulls actually just beat the 76ers at home to close out the year, holding them to just 92 points. Zach LaVine remains out and without him, Chicago has won 10 of 16 games, while averaging 113.8 points and 25.2 assists per game compared to just 106.4 points and 21.9 assists when he plays.

Philly split the 4 games without Embiid, all of which were on the road. They return to Wells Fargo Center where they are a comfortable 12-4 SU, but experience has taught us when it comes to that first game back from a long road trip, there are usually issues. I do expect the Sixers to come out on top here, but I have my doubts about whether they can completely dominate this Bulls team. Chicago has nothing to lose — they’ve played Philadelphia well in recent meetings, going 4-1 SU/ATS. With the Bulls also covering the spread in their last 5 games on the road, I’ll happily take them to keep it within 10.

Brooklyn Nets ML over New Orleans Pelicans (+215)

This could be one of those weird games where everyone is expecting the Pelicans to win, but they somehow find a way to let us all down. They just recorded back-to-back wins over Utah and the Lakers at home, but coming to the Smoothie King Center tonight are the Brooklyn Nets who have had a ton of success in head-to-head meetings. Brooklyn has won 8 of their last 9 against the Pels, while also covering the spread 8 times in the last 10 meetings.

There hasn’t been much to celebrate for the Nets lately, especially on the road where they have failed to cover in their last 6 outings, but this team is much better defensively down low than it is defending the three-point line. One of the reasons why they’ve had so much success in recent meetings is the fact that the Pels rank only 26th in threes made per game. If the Nets stick to their strengths here, they have every chance of pulling off the upset.

Oklahoma City Thunder +3 over Boston Celtics (-112)

To wrap up this NBA mega parlay, I have the Oklahoma City Thunder covering the spread as home underdogs against the Boston Celtics. This will be an intriguing matchup between 2 of the best teams in both conferences. I expected the Thunder to be slight home favorites here simply because of the dominance they’ve displayed at Paycom Center this season. At 13-5 SU, they are one of the best home teams in the league and they’re currently riding a 4-game win streak in which they’ve scored at least 119 points in each of them.

Boston has also been on a roll, winning 6 straight, but the wins over Detroit and Toronto certainly weren’t convincing. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a flaw that the Celtics have but one of them is their inconsistency against the spread in road games, where they are just 6-8-2 this season. They’ve failed to cover in 5 straight against OKC, plus the last meeting between the 2 teams finished in a whopping 150-117 home win for the Thunder. Having covered the spread in 13 of 18 home games this season, I’m rolling with SGA and company in this one.
