A couple of big name stars are questionable to play in Wednesday’s 6-game NBA slate, but that doesn’t mean there will be a lack of excitement in those matchups. As usual, I’ve done a thorough analysis of all 6 games and have come up with my 3 favorites bets for an NBA Mega Parlay. Continue reading below to see it.

Head over to our NBA predictions page for picks on the side and total on a 6-game night.

Now let’s get into my bet!

PHI 76ers ML (+124)

NY Knicks ML (+136)

Over 225.5 pts in Suns vs Rockets (-110)

Parlay odds: +909

Philadelphia 76ers ML over Orlando Magic(+124)

The Sixers will be without Joel Embiid for the 2nd game in a row, but I don’t really mind that in this matchup. There are some defensive weaknesses on this Orlando team that the Sixers can take advantage of. For example, the Magic are only 18th in the NBA in opponent fast break points, they’ve allowed 20.3 fastbreak points per game in their last 3 outings. A player like Tyrese Maxey will feast on those numbers.

Orlando did come out of the Christmas break with a win over Washington last night, but before that they went just 3-6 SU in 9 games. In 2nd games of a back-to-back they’re 2-3 SU this season while averaging just 107.4 points per game. Even though the Sixers lost without Embiid on Christmas Day in Miami, there were some encouraging signs from that performance. They’ve dominated the Magic in head-to-head meetings winning 11 of the last 12, including the last 5 straight in Orlando. I’ll gladly take them as road underdogs here.

New York Knicks ML over OKC Thunder (+136)

This pick is primarily based on the fact that Oklahoma City will be playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. Last night’s win over Minnesota exerted a lot of energy, and although they’re 2-0 in this scenario this season, it’s worth pointing out that their 2 wins came vs Portland and Detroit. The one weakness that the Thunder have here is their rebounding, they’re giving up the 4th highest number of boards per game at 54.8.

The Knicks have played well lately, they finally got the monkey off their back with an emotional win over Milwaukee on Christmas Day. This team actually has a better ATS record in road games than home games this season, with the rest advantage I feel like they can pull off the upset win here. Jalen Brunson has been on fire lately averaging 28.2 points per game in his last 10 on over 50% from the field and 42% from three. He had 34 in his last game vs OKC last season, which was a road win. If he can produce a similar performance tonight, I feel really good about the Knicks here.

Phioenix Suns vs Houston Rockets over 224.5 (-110)

And finally, I have the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets going over the total to close out our Parlay. Just like Oklahoma City, the Rockets too will be playing their 2nd game in 2 nights here. In this scenario they have just 1 win and 3 losses so far this season, losing to the likes of Golden State, Denver, Cleveland and New Orleans. In 3 of those 4 games we’ve seen more than 225.5 points which is tonight’s projected total, Houston has averaged 119 points per game.

Phoenix has been a hot mess lately, which is why I think it’s best to avoid backing them to win or cover here. Their defense has been atrocious in the last 5 games, with the Mavericks, Kings and Knicks putting up 120+ points on them. The last 4 of 5 meetings have all cashed on the over, while the last 10 are averaging 232.9 points per game. Houston is known for their lock down defense this season, but there could be some heavy legs out there on a 2nd night of a back-to back. Back the points.
