New Orleans Saints touchdown scorer best bet: Taysom Hill (+210)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

New Orleans’ Swiss army knife has had a busy season. Taysom Hill has thrown for a touchdown, caught a touchdown and rushed for a touchdown 4 times, so one way or another, he’s regularly found himself in the end zone. Hill wasn’t too involved in the gameplan last week since he was recovering from a foot and hand injury, but he’s had a short week to rest for this Week 16 matchup. I’m expecting Hill to play a large part in Thursday’s game because the Rams defensive line has been the pride of the defense this season with Aaron Donald up front. Alvin Kamara likely won’t have too productive of a day on the ground, so he’ll be sharing a lot of snaps with Hill — especially near the goal line. Hill can do it all for the Saints, and I’m anticipating him to find the end zone through either the air or on the ground.

Los Angeles Rams touchdown scorer best bet: Cooper Kupp (+140)

Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

Is Cooper Kupp back? The 2021 Triple Crown winner has had a disappointing season thus far by his standards and his injury has played a big part in that. However, in the last few weeks, Kupp has turned back the clock. The star receiver has 16 catches, 126 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in the last 2 weeks. He’s taken back the role of WR1 from Puka Nacua, and although the rookie sensation is still getting a decent amount of the target share, he doesn’t come close to Kupp’s relationship with Matthew Stafford. Kupp has scored in 3 straight games and should continue to be Stafford’s first look through the air in the red zone. The ideal scenario is either a deep ball to Kupp or for Kyren Williams gets stuffed near the end zone and Stafford throws a ball to the corner of the end zone for Kupp.
