The huge 14-game slate in the NHL on Wednesday delivered in big way. After a Thanksgiving holiday that hopefully was full of family time and great food, fans are in for a treat with an even bigger 15-game slate on Black Friday. Wednesday’s matchups had some heavyweight bouts but Friday’s has a few more lopsided tilts. Regardless, the action starts at 1:00 pm ET and keeps going right through the afternoon and night. This will be a great day of hockey, and you can make it even more intriguing by checking out our NHL mega parlay at +880 odds below. You can also read our NHL predictions for picks on all 15 of today’s games.

Maple Leafs -1.5 (+105)

Devils -1.5 (-105)

Stars -1.5 (+145)

NHL mega parlay odds: +880

Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 over Chicago Blackhawks (+105)

The Leafs are a very good team that has bounced back from a bit of a lull. The Blackhawks meanwhile have been a punching bag. Things do not look to be much different on Friday as the Maple Leafs have a good chance to continue the beat down on the Blackhawks.

Chicago enters this game having dropped 5 straight games and they are 5-12-0 on the season. They just lost 7-3 to another bad team in Columbus. Not much is going right for the Blackhawks while the Maple Leafs are a good team that has won 4 straight and 5 out of their last 6. They should be able to run up the score in this one.

New Jersey Devils -1.5 over Columbus Blue Jackets (-105)

The Devils really need to collect a win and the Blue Jackets present a great opportunity for New Jersey to do just that. The Blue Jackets are in the cellar of the Eastern Conference with 14 points and just snapped a 9-game losing streak. They would be a favorable matchup for just about any team in the league, but that is especially the case for a good team like the Devils.

New Jersey is on a bit of a slide and is in need of a get-right game. The Devils are already the deeper, better team. Given their recent skid, they should come out with even more urgency than usual to run up the score and break out of this slump. Look for the Devils to get back in the win column with authority.

Dallas Stars -1.5 over Calgary Flames (+145)

After a brutal start to the season, the Flames look to have snapped out of it at least a little bit. It may be a moot point though because the Stars are that good. They sit atop the Central division and third in the Western Conference. The Stars have yet to slip up so far this season and it would be surprising to see them do so against a weaker Flames team.

As mentioned, Calgary has been solid lately to the tune of a 5-3-2 record in their last 10 games. That is almost as good as the Stars’ 6-3-1 record in their last 10. It remains to be seen if this Flames success is sustainable or if they are just in the midst of a good stretch. Whereas we know what the Stars are and that is an elite team. This +145 number looks generous and is too good to pass up.
