Vancouver Canucks ML  & over 6.5 (+132)

NHL mega parlay odds: +847

Buffalo Sabres vs New Jersey Devils over 7 (+114)

There is a lot of offensive talent in this game. Despite that, neither the Sabres nor the Devils has been fantastic this season regardless of high expectations. The season is still young though and they will both lean on team strengths to get on a roll. Last year, that strength was goalscoring and looking at these rosters, not much has changed.

Last year the Sabres scored the 3rd-most goals in the NHL and the Devils scored the 5th-most. This year, the rosters look very similar but the offense has not been there. If either team is going to make a run, they will have to snap out of this  offensive lull. Look for both teams to take chances offensively and capitalize on the weak goal prevention of their opponents.

Toronto Maple Leafs ML (-110)

This game has coin-flip odds which is a bit surprising as the Maple Leafs should probably be the favorites against the Penguins. They are 10-5-3, which is good for 4th in the Eastern Conference. The Penguins are 9-10-0 and 13th out of 16 in the Eastern Conference. Even at -110, Toronto is good value considering the Leafs could reasonably be around -130.

The Penguins just have not figured it out yet this season. When it looked like they were catching fire, they went on a cold streak. Pittsburgh is volatile while we know what Toronto will bring from game after game. The Maple Leafs are the better team, the more reliable pick, and have better value.

Vancouver Canucks ML & over 6.5 (+132)

This looks to be the most lopsided game on Saturday’s slate. The Canucks are a very good team while the Sharks are potentially a historically bad team. Vancouver has won both head-to-head games this season by a combined score of 13-2. Unless the Canucks completely mail it in, they should be able to get the job done just fine.

There have been 15 total goals scored in the 2 head-to-head matchups this season and the Canucks have done the large majority of the scoring. But the Canucks have given no indication that they cannot produce a similar performance. If Vancouver has even close to that level, the over will have a good look in this one.
