The last day and night of NHL hockey prior to the 3-day holiday break is a treat for fans. There are a whopping 14 games on tap on Saturday beginning at 2PM ET and ending at the very end of the night. Hockey will be on all day and there is tons of action to take in. Even if your team is not one of the 28 suited up, there is plenty to watch for on this loaded slate. Hopefully you can get your shopping out of the way early enough and enjoy this jam-packed Saturday of NHL hockey.

I have created a 3-game NHL mega parlay for tonight’s action at +1019 odds, which you can read below. You can also check out our NHL predictions for picks on today’s games.

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+180)

Detroit Red Wings vs New Jersey Devils over 6.5 (-130)

St. Louis Blues win and over 6 (+126)

NHL parlay odds: +1019

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 (+180)

The Lightning are playing good hockey at a good time. Despite being 16-13-5, Tampa has won their last 2 straight and 6 out of their last 9 games. They have also won 5 out of their last 7 games vs the Capitals. Entering Saturday, the Lightning beat the Blues 6-1 and then beat a great Vegas team 5-4 on Thursday.

Despite a somewhat tumultuous first quarter-plus of the season, the Lightning find themselves right in the thick of the playoff race. This is a good team that is well-coached that has been there, done that. They show up in big games like this one. Look for the Lightning to come out buzzing to win big against a confusing Capitals team.

Detroit Red Wings vs New Jersey Devils over 6.5 (-130)

The over has been rolling for the Red Wings lately. The total has gone over in 8 out of their last 11 games and in 5 out of their last 6 on the road. This has been a very volatile team as they have shown both the ability to score in bunches and allow goals in bunches. That is a good recipe for an over.

The Devils can be categorized as an underperforming team this season. That is, compared to last season, at least. The ceiling of this team is sky-high given the high-end talent on this roster beginning with Jack Hughes. They can contribute to a high total offensively on any given night but have also been prone to the lopsided number defensively as well. This pure matchup looks good for the over.

St. Louis Blues win and over 6 (+126)

The Blues are a very confusing team. But they have shown enough upside to like them outright against this Blackhawks team. That is not saying much for Chicago who is tied for last in the NHL and make for a favorable matchup against every team in hockey. The Blues are no exception. St. Louis should be just fine in this one.

The over has hit in 5 out of the Blues last 6 games at home. They have scored 4 goals in 3 out of their last 4 games which is a good start to their over. In the other game, they allowed 6 goals. St. Louis has either scored or allowed 4+ goals in 8 out of their last 10 games while Chicago has in 7 out of their last 10 games. Look for a high total in this one.
