We’ve got just five total games on today’s NHL slate, including one bright and early between the Maple Leafs and Wild starting at 8:08 AM ET. While I’m not targeting that matchup in my parlay picks below, we’ll get straight into my best bets for some of the other Sunday matchups.

Between these picks’ consistency and the value that they bring, it’s not hard to see why I’ve selected what I have.

Golden Knights vs Penguins over 6.5 (+100)

Blackhawks ML (+155)

Blues vs Ducks under 6.5 (-110)

NHL parlay odds: +874

Las Vegas Golden Knights vs Pittsburgh Penguins Over 6.5 (+100)

Vegas is one of the league’s best teams offensively at 3.6 goals (8th) and 31.4 shots (9th) per game. Even though they rank inside the top 5 in the NHL at goals allowed (2.4), they still allow a solid amount of shots each contest (30.2). Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is arguably even better than VGK on the offensive end, with scoring nearly the same amount of goals per outing and ranking 1st in shots (34.5).

They’ve held up much stronger defensively, but they don’t play a team with an offense like Vegas’ very often. The over has hit in back-to-back games for the Golden Knights while also being the result in 2 of the last 3 contests for the Penguins. This has a real chance to be a shootout this evening.

Chicago Blackhawks ML over Buffalo Sabres (+155)

In a battle between two relatively bad teams, we’ll look to see which squads’ young talent is able to prevail. My money will be on Chicago, especially with the value of how heavy of underdogs they are heading into this one. They’ve each dropped 3 consecutive games and have failed to overly impress on either side of the ice.

The real catch here is that Buffalo has struggled recently when playing away from home. Of their last 6 on the road, they own just 2 victories. I can’t sit here and tell you that Chicago has been amazing at home, because they haven’t, but they should be motivated enough to get off the schneid in this one. In a game that features two teams with similar levels of talent, I’ll take the chance with the home team being priced like this.

St. Louis Blues vs Anaheim Ducks Under 6.5 (-110)

This one just seems too easy. Neither of these teams excel on the offensive end of the ice, both ranking 20th or worse in goals and shots per game. However, both defenses have been able to more than hold their own. Anaheim sits at 15th in the league regarding goals allowed per game at just 3.2 and St. Louis has been even better, all the way up at number 5 surrendering only 2.5.

Add in the fact that the under has prevailed a healthy dosage of times when these teams are playing, and the vision is clear. Only 3 of the last 10 Blues games have finished with more than 6 goals, and the same thing is true concerning just 1 of their last 4. The under also holds a dominant 19-11-2 combined record for these squads this season, and that trend should continue today.
