The NHL is in full force tonight and there are some particularly intriguing matchups on the slate. That’s bound to occur when there are 13 games taking place, but still, it should be a fantastic night of action on the ice.

As I’ve been doing time and time again this season, I’ll be laying out my favorite NHL parlay picks for tonight’s schedule. Whether you agree with my picks or not, be sure to check out the rest of our NHL picks before the first puck drop.

Canadiens -1.5 (+158)

Rangers vs Blues under 6.5 (-120)

Coyotes ML (+100)

NHL parlay odds: +846

Montreal Canadiens -1.5 over San Jose Sharks (158)

First up is a battle between 2 of the league’s bottom feeders, which is rather ironic considering I just mentioned how today’s slate features some exciting matchups. The Montreal Canadiens are on the second night of a back-to-back, but it’s hard to not take the value going up against a woeful San Jose Sharks squad. The Sharks are an embarrassing 9-29-3 this season with a scoring differential of -90.

San Jose is also winless in its last 12 tries, with 10 of those losses coming by multiple goals. The Canadiens aren’t all that great, themselves, but they have at least been competent. This is more of a play fading the Sharks than anything else, as they rank dead last in the NHL in nearly every major statistical category. The Habs shouldn’t have an issue winning; we just need them to come through and win by 2+ goals.

New York Rangers vs St. Louis Blues Under 6.5 (-120)

Another terrific value play on the board involves the New York Rangers heading out on the road to take on the St. Louis Blues. The Rangers have been a solid team on the offensive end of the ice throughout the 2023-24 campaign, but their defense has been elite. Add in the fact that the Blues have struggled mightily on offense but have held things down defensively, especially recently, and this contest should be a low-scoring affair.

New York ranks inside the league’s top 10 in both goals allowed (2.7) and shots allowed (29.6) per game, and St. Louis sits at 16th in goals surrendered at 3.1. It’s also worth pointing out that in 7 of the Blues’ last 9 contests, the under was the result. That includes 6 consecutive outings, and that streak should continue after tonight’s game is all said and done.

Arizona Coyotes ML over Calgary Flames (+100)

To cap off my selections I’m heading out west to discuss the Arizona Coyotes (20-17-2) hosting the Calgary Flames (18-18-5) . While the teams’ records are quite different, just 1 point separates the 2 squads in the standings — and both will need to fight for victories in every game from here on out to have the best chance at the postseason. In this one I expect the ‘Yotes to come out on top, with the game in Arizona being the main factor.

The Flames have dropped their last 2 outings on the road, including 1 contest against a poor Blackhawks team. Calgary’s offense is keeping it in games, but the defense just hasn’t been there recently — giving up 3+ goals in 5 of the last 6 showings. That’s where Arizona should be able to capitalize considering it has been solid defensively all campaign but has simply lacked offensive firepower.
