The middle of the week is made a little bit easier for hockey fans as there are 4 fantastic NHL games on tap for Wednesday. In both the Stars vs Panthers game and the Penguins vs Lightning game, the teams have the same number of wins. In Golden Knights vs Blues and Hurricanes vs Oilers, there is a clear contender and a clear bubble team looking to make a push. What this slate lacks in quantity, it more than makes up for in quality of games. We’ve created a 3-game NHL mega parlay for tonight’s action at +954 odds, which you can read below. You can also check out our NHL predictions for picks on today’s games.

Penguins vs Lightning under 6.5 (-105)

Golden Knights win and under 6 (+200)

Edmonton Oilers win (-125)

NHL parlay odds: +954

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning Under 6.5 (-105)

Both the Penguins and the Lightning enter Wednesday with 11 wins and 10 regulation losses. In a game between similar teams that have high-end talent, there is not much margin for error. Games like that typically bode well for a lower total. A lower total would reinforce the unders trends that have been rolling for both teams lately. The under has hit in 8 of Pittsburgh’s last 9 games, as well as in their last 5 on the road. The total has also gone under in 4 of Tampa’s last 5 games and in 4 of their last 6 at home. These teams have met once this season in a game that ended with 6 goals. Tonight’s matchup looks likely to bring more of the same.

Vegas Golden Knights ML over St. Louis Blues & Under 6 (+200)

The Blues beat the Golden Knights in overtime 2-1 on Monday. Vegas could not catch a break as they had several high-quality scoring chances. Jordan Binnington stood on his head and stole 2 points. The Golden Knights are the better team — they played well against the Blues on Monday and should come out with a little extra jam to get back in the win column.

Monday’s 2-1 final beyond regulation was Vegas’ 7th under in their last 8 games and St. Louis’ 4th under in their last 5 games. Both teams have been volatile in terms of their goal production over the past couple of weeks. That volatility has resulted in lower totals and gives the under appeal in this one.

Edmonton Oilers ML over Carolina Hurricanes (-125)

The Oilers are enjoying a nice week at a time when they really needed wins. Edmonton is still digging out of the hole they put themselves in to start the season but it finally looks like they are on the ascent. Edmonton enters this game having won 4 straight by a combined 14 goals. That is an average win by 3.5 goals.

The Hurricanes are far from a pushover. Carolina is a legitimate playoff and potentially Stanley Cup contender. One could argue that despite the slow start, so are the Oilers. Edmonton has higher top-end talent in the form of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl which Carolina just does not have. The Oilers are deeper and appear to have stopped underachieving. Look for them to keep the good times rolling.
