TGIF! Because we’re uniting nations today as I team up with my Croatian comrade, the great and powerful Pips. We’re working with an 11-game slate today with plenty of interesting matchups and compelling storylines, just one day removed from an eventful trade deadline. Before we dive into our favorite prop bets, make sure you check out our full game previews with picks and analysis for every single matchup.

We’ve gone 4-2 on our last two PipStarz cards for Pickswise. We will look to stay hot as we have three more picks today that we love. Below, we will breakdown each bet with analysis and explain why we think they provide good value.

Christian Wood Over 22.5 Points (-105)

After returning from an ankle injury, C-Wood is 100% and no longer playing on a minutes restriction. He should receive between 34-36 minutes today versus the Wolves. He is one of the best scoring bigs in the league, and players that profile similarly to him have performed very well in Minnesota.

Porzingis scored 29 points in a blowout playing 29 minutes, Harrell scored 25 in 29 minutes, and Zion 24 in 31 minutes. Eric Gordon and Victor Oladipo, who was just dealt at the trade deadline, are both out tonight. Kevin Porter Jr. is also questionable, so we are anticipating that Wood will have an uptick in usage. We like him to finish with at least 24 points.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves.

Marcus Smart Over 4.5 Assists (-113)

Smart is averaging 5.4 assists this season, and that number climbs to 6.1 whenever he plays over 30 minutes. We expect him to play 35+ minutes tonight against the Bucks.

He has gone over this total in his last four games while averaging 6 APG over this span. Backup Point Guard Jeff Teague has been traded so Smart should see an increase in ball-handling and playmaking responsibilities. We have Smart projected to finish with 6.7 assists in a high-scoring game against the Bucks.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks.

Jerami Grant Over 22.5 Points (-105)

Grant comes into today’s matchup against the Nets having scored at least 22 points in five of his last seven games. He will face a Brooklyn defense that is 25th in Defensive Efficiency and he hung 22 and 32 on this season. He’s averaging 18 FGA’s per game and has taken over 20 shots in his last three games.

Brooklyn is allowing opponents to score 115.2 points per game. Without Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, and Delon Wright, Grant will have no completion for shots and will have the green light today. We like him get up another 20 shots and have him projected to score 24 points.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Brooklyn Nets vs. Detroit Pistons.
