We have put together a list of Friday’s best odds boosts, which today are from DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook. We’ll discuss whether or not they are worth playing.

NBA: Tyrese Haliburton and Caris LeVert to combine for 40+ points – Boosted from +200 to +230 with DraftKings Sportsbook

The Cavaliers are paying a visit to the Pacers on Friday night for a contest between teams who were active at the trade deadline. Cleveland acquired Caris LeVert from none other than the opponent it is facing in this game, while Indiana landed Tyrese Haliburton from Sacramento. Can the new guys combine for at least 40 points on Friday? LeVert averages 18.5 points per game, but he is now part of a better and deeper Cavaliers club and he scored only 11 points in his debut on Wednesday. Haliburton comes in at 14.3 ppg and this will be his first outing with the Pacers, so there may be an adjustment process. It is also worth noting that our NBA expert has the under for this game with the total set at a modest 212.5. Even with a boost to +230, this looks to be a bet that is best avoided.

NBA: Jayson Tatum and Nikola Jokic to combine for 90+ points, rebounds, and assists – Boosted from +110 to +120 with DraftKings Sportsbook

We are also on the under in Nuggets versus Celtics, with the total set at 217. That would correlate with not a ton of points and assists for Jayson Tatum and Nikola Jokic, plus a boost from +110 to +120 is minimal. Moreover, Jayson Tatum has scored 20 points or less in 4 of the last 5 contests and he has not posted more than 24 at all during this stretch. Nikola Jokic has gone 7 straight games without reaching the 30-point mark – his second-longest such drought of the season. I would avoid this play like the plague.

NHL: Trevor Zegras to score a goal – Boosted from +250 to +275 with DraftKings Sportsbook

Friday’s NHL slate is wrapping up with the Anaheim Ducks taking on the Seattle Kraken. We are backing Seattle and the under, which automatically makes you question the chances of Tyler Zegras finding the back of the net for Anaheim. Zegras has wowed fans with his playmaking ability (both during the season and as a part of all-star weekend), but he has scored in only 1 of the Ducks’ last 8 games. The Kraken have improved their defense of late by allowing more than 3 goals only once in the last 5 outings.

UFC: Bobby Green, Kyler Phillips, and Jared Cannonier all to win – Boosted from +230 to +300 with FanDuel Sportsbook

Kyler Phillips is a -435 favorite on Saturday’s card, so he should be a lock. Bobby Green and Jared Cannonier are -150 and 160 favorites, respectively. A standard 2-leg parlay with Green and Cannonier would generally pay out at +171. With this boost you get +300 on each member of the trio emerging victorious. Under the assumption that Phillips doesn’t get hit with a huge upset, this looks like a play worth making.
