Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Odds, Season Predictions and Best NFL Futures Bets 2023

Another season has gone by of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs coming up just short of their end goal. After beating the Miami Dolphins in the wild-card round, Buffalo was held to just 10 points in its divisional matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Is Allen going to be able to lead Buffalo to a Super Bowl title? Or will Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes always be in his way?

Let’s take a look at some of the odds and best bets to be made on the Buffalo Bills in 2023.

Buffalo Bills 2022 season recap

Although Buffalo sported a 13-3 record, its postseason woes continued as Joe Burrow knocked them out of the playoffs in the Divisional Round. It wasn’t a complete waste of a season though since Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs’ chemistry only seemed to get better and their defense become one of the most feared units in football. And of course, it’s hard to discuss their 2022 season without mentioning Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest on the field. Fortunately for Hamlin and us fans, he will be back on the field in 2023.

Buffalo Bills 2023 NFL season predictions

Oddsmakers are high on the Bills once again this season. Buffalo has the 3rd-best odds to win the Super Bowl and the 2nd-best odds to win the AFC, but — of course — Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are projected to stand in their way again. Is this the season in which Buffalo finally breaks through?

Here are a couple of my Buffalo Bills-related predictions for the upcoming season.

Best bet: Buffalo Bills win the AFC East (+120)

Looking at Buffalo’s 2023 schedule, it certainly won’t be an easy 18 weeks. However, the Bills are lucky in the fact that both the Patriots and Dolphins are expected to have 2 of the hardest schedules in the league. If New England and Miami continue to get beat up by non-divisional teams, it will only make it easy for Buffalo to capture to division. And no offense to the Patriots, but this is a 3-man race for the AFC East this year. However, I’m even inclined to say it’s a 2-man race because I’m concerned about Tua Tagovailoa’s injury history and the Dolphins’ inability to win big games. And since I’m not sold that Aaron Rodgers will have a seamless transition to the Jets, I’m backing the Bills to win the division for the 4th straight season.

Buffalo Bills season record prediction: 11-6

I’m expecting big things from Buffalo this season, but I’m playing it safe and expecting 11 wins. The Bills have a very difficult schedule and have to play non-divisional teams like the Chiefs, Eagles, Chargers and Cowboys who are all serious threats to make a deep playoff run. If the Bills can handle the big games, an 11-6 record is definitely attainable.
