College basketball Thursday mega parlay (+1154 odds): Depend on DePaul

Conference play is officially in full swing, and we have a big college hoops slate on Thursday. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right; we’re back with another mega parlay, college basketball edition. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time.

Oklahoma State ML (+340)

Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.

DePaul ML (+185) over Seton Hall

To start this mega parlay we’ve got DePaul for this Big East clash. DePaul is on a 5-game skid, which has caused them to become undervalued in the market. Three of those losses were on the road, and the others were to ranked teams. In each of those road losses they actually played pretty well. They easily could have gone 2-1 in those games if a few balls had bounced their way and we’d be talking about them completely differently.

Seton Hall, on the other hand, has won a bunch of close games, and they’re due for some regression. We’re already starting to see it as they’re just 2-2 in conference play. Seton Hall has a startling lack of shooting, as none of their top 6 scorers is shooting above 33% from beyond the arc. That could come back to haunt them on the road.

Oklahoma State ML (+340) over Texas Tech

Getting better than 3/1 with Oklahoma State to wrap up this mega parlay is too good to pass up. Just 2 games ago the Cowboys beat a highly ranked Texas team by 13. Clearly they’ve got upside and a high ceiling, which is exactly what we’re looking for when targeting a team that’s a big money-line ‘dog. Both of these teams are elite on defense, meaning it should be a low-scoring game which only increases the variance.

Oklahoma State has also played a much tougher schedule. Texas Tech’s strength of schedule ranks 269th nationally according to KenPom, while OSU’s ranks 37th. Now is the time to sell high on the Red Raiders after their big win over Baylor. A team that can’t score consistently shouldn’t be this large of a favorite against a solid Cowboys program.
