It’s another big day in college basketball, and we are going for our second successful mega parlay in the span of 48 hours. There is no reason why we can’t make it happen given the amount of on-court product that we have to work with on Wednesday. A total of 7 top-25 teams are taking the floor, including an all-ranked showdown between Providence and Xavier.

Here is my three-team mega parlay for the festivities.

Iowa State ML (+145)

Florida State -9.5 alternate spread (+165)

West Virginia -2 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1139

For this parlay we are going with two favorites against the spread – one on an alternate number – and one underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Iowa State ML over Oklahoma State (-110)

Although the Cyclones have struggled of late, you can’t entirely discount their hot start to the season. And they can get back to that level. One problem is that outside of Izaiah Brockington and his 16.4 points per game, there isn’t another viable scoring option on Iowa State. But the good news for ISU is that OSU has similar issues when it comes to scoring offense. Oklahoma State ranks 247th nationally in scoring offense, averaging only 68.7 points per game, and its leading scorer is Bryce Williams, who averages 10.6 points per game. However, he hasn’t surpassed that total since scoring 12 points in the loss to West Virginia 2 weeks ago. The Cyclones’ defense is sensational in allowing only 59.9 points per game, which ranks 14th in the country. Look for Brockington to make enough plays for the Cyclones to not only keep this game close but also earn a tough road win.

Florida State -9.5 alternate spread over Georgia Tech (+165)

Things are rough right now for Georgia Tech, as it sits at 1-6 in the ACC. The matchup isn’t particularly good for the Yellow Jackets, either, so Florida State is the recommended side to take – and with confidence. FSU presses at the second-highest rate in the country behind only Cornell. The Seminoles also rank 27th in the country in turnover rate per KenPom. The combination of those factors spells trouble for Georgia Tech’s offense. Per Synergy, GT ranks in just the 22nd percentile against press defenses this year, scoring an atrocious 0.717 points per possession. The Jackets also turn the ball over 28.3% of the time against press defenses, so we should expect to see another poor offensive game from the ACC’s worst offense during conference play. On the other end of the floor, Florida State’s offense still is a work in progress but it should be able to score near the basket. Per Hoop-Math, FSU ranks 15th nationally in field-goal percentage at the rim. Georgia Tech’s defense ranks 247th in shots allowed and 298th in field-goal percentage allowed at the rim. Don’t be surprised if the ‘Noles win this one big.

West Virginia -2 over Oklahoma (-110)

The Sooners are on a 4-game losing streak after losing to Texas, TCU, Kansas, and Baylor. They were unable to defend home court against Baylor on Saturday, when they lost 65-51. Their offense struggled against that stingy Baylor defense, finishing with just 51 points and shooting just 27.8% from beyond the arc. OU’s offense will need to step up in this game and down the road if it wants a chance at the NCAA Tournament. West Virginia is 13-5 on the season and sits right above Oklahoma in the middle of the pack of the Big 12 standings. The Mountaineers are on a 2-game losing streak after falling to Baylor and Texas Tech last week. There is no shame in those results. Between two evenly matched teams, there is no reason why WVU should be getting points at home.
