The NFL season may have come and gone, but there is still plenty of action in the sports world – especially before the NBA all-star break begins later this week. We have 11 games on the professional hardwood tonight, including a double-header on ESPN featuring the Nets, Knicks, Jazz, Lakers. There is also a lot to work with at the betting window in the departments of college basketball, hockey, and golf.

Let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Wednesday.

NBA: Chicago Bulls -5.5 over Sacramento Kings

One of bettors’ favorite plays of the day is on Chicago to cover 5.5 points in its home game against Sacramento. The Bulls  against the spread are inspiring 93 percent of the handle and 83 percent of the bets. The public is also happy to incur -220 juice on the money. A total of 89 percent of the handle and 93 percent of the wagers are hoping for a straight up win.

NBA: Golden State Warriors ML over Denver Nuggets

Punters are also hammering the Warriors, who are entertaining the Nuggets on Wednesday night. Golden State on the -220 money line is hauling in 80 percent of the handle and 77 percent of the wagers. Meanwhile, this game is also one of the public’s favorite over plays today. Over 224.5 is getting 91 percent of the money and 90 percent of the bets. Alought we at Pickswise like Denver plus the points, we definitely agree with the over.

A total of 93 percent of the handle and 86 percent of the wagers are backing the Flames to win outright. Our bet is on Calgary’s 3-way money line.

Golf: Collin Morikawa to win the Genesis Invitational

Last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open was complete chaos, with two hole-in-ones on the famous 16th hole among other wild moments. Now we are getting down to business as the western swing continues this week at Riviera with the Genesis Invitational. Our picks our Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa, and Viktor Hovland. The public especially likes Morikawa (+1600), backing him to win with 11 percent of the handle and 7 percent of the wagers – the leader in both departments. Johnson (also +1600) is second behind his fellow American with 6 percent of the money and 4 percent of the wagers.
