We have another busy schedule in the world of sports on Wednesday. A total of 16 games will be played in Major League Baseball—the normal 15 plus the second leg of a double-header between the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals (Tuesday’s contest was postponed). There are nine games taking place in both the NBA and NHL, in addition to the second Champions League semifinal. Let’s take a look at where the betting money has gone so far.

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies -4.5 over Minnesota Timberwolves

Per DraftKings, the public is all over the Memphis Grizzlies in their road game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. A bloated 85 percent of the handle and 80 percent of the bets are backing Memphis to cover the -4.5 spread. Bettors also love the under in this matchup, with 84 percent of the money and 80 percent of the wagers hoping that this game stays under 235.5 points.

NBA: New York Knicks vs. Denver Nuggets Over 221.5

Another popular play is on the over in this showdown between the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets. With the total set at 214.5, 93 percent of the money and 94 percent of the bets are hoping for a high-scoring affair. Punters are also relatively enthusiastic about the red-hot Knicks; 60 percent of both the money and the wagers are on New York +3.5.

NHL: Nashville Predators -1.5 over Columbus Blue Jackets

Bettors’ favorite NHL play of the day is on the Nashville Predators in their road game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Nashville on the -1.5 puck line is getting a lofty 95 percent of the handle and 93 percent of the wagers. Bettors are just as enthusiastic about incurring -180 juice with the money line; 95 percent of the money and 92 percent of the bets are going toward the Predators to win outright.

The Preds on the money line is one of our NHL best bets of the day.

NHL: Colorado Avalanche ML over San Jose Sharks

The public is also hammering the Colorado Avalanche, who are paying a visit to the San Jose Sharks. Colorado is drawing 92 percent of the handle and 95 percent of the bets on the -275 money line. The Avalanche are getting a ton of love to cover the -1.5 puck line, too, and that obviously offers superior value. A total of 80 percent of the money and 92 percent of the bets are on Colorado to prevail by multiple games.

We like the Avalanche just as much as the public. In fact, we are taking them on the -1.5 puck line. Check out our full game preview.

MLB: Boston Red Sox -1.5 over Detroit Tigers

On the baseball diamond, bettors really like the Boston Red Sox to easily take care of the visiting Detroit Tigers. A ridiculous 98 percent of the money and 93 percent of the bets are banking on Boston to cover the -1.5 run line. The public is also intrigued by the -195 money line, with 78 percent of the money and 85 percent of the wagers are tipping the Red Sox to win straight up.

We have to agree with the public here. The Tigers are the worst team in baseball by a country mile and the Red Sox have been a nice surprise so far—currently leading the AL East. Check out our full game preview.
