We have a busy Tuesday in the world of sports. The playoffs continue on the NBA hardwood (Game 5 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets) and on the NHL ice (Game 2 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders). Meanwhile, a full 15-game schedule in Major League Baseball is highlighted by an ESPN showdown between the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs. Let’s take a look at where the betting money has gone so far.

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 over Brooklyn Nets

Per DraftKings, the public is all over the Bucks in their road game against the Nets on Tuesday night. A total of 76 percent of the handle plus 65 percent of the bets are backing Milwaukee to cover the -4.5 spread. Punters are also happy to incur the -190 juice on the money line, with 75 percent of the handle and 55 percent of the wagers hoping for a Bucks outright win.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning ML over New York Islanders

In the lone NHL contest of the night, bettors like the Lightning to get back on track against the Islanders. Tampa Bay lost Game 1 at home this past Sunday via a 2-1 decision, so the pressure is on the defending Stanley Cup champions in this semi-final series. With 70 percent of the money going toward the Lightning at -200, 69 percent of the bets are going in the same direction. As for the -1.5 puck line, 63 percent of the handle and 55 percent of the wagers are picking Tampa Bay to win by multiple goals.

Jun 5, 2021; Tampa, Florida, USA; Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov (86) celebrates as he scores a goal against the Carolina Hurricanes during the third period in game four of the second round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs at Amalie Arena.

MLB: San Diego Padres -1.5 over Colorado Rockies

On the baseball diamond, bettors’ favorite play of the day is on the Padres to win by multiple runs against the Rockies. San Diego on the -1.5 run line is inspiring a ridiculous 99 percent of the handle and 94 percent of the bets. On the money line, the Padres are heavy -235 favorites. However, the public is not scared away by that juice. A total of 96 percent of the money and 92 percent of the wagers are backing San Diego to win straight up.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers ML over Philadelphia Phillies

The public consistently hammers the powerhouse National League West and Tuesday is no exception. In addition to San Diego, punters also love Los Angeles. With the Dodgers priced as -190 favorites, a whopping 85 percent of the money and 90 percent of the wagers are picking them to pick up an outright win over the Phillies. The -1.5 run line is intriguing to bettors, as well. They are all over LA to cover, with 95 percent of the handle and 93 percent of the wagers going in that direction.

MLB: New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays under 9

When it comes to game totals, the public is intrigued by the under in Tuesday’s matchup between the Yankees and Blue Jays. A sizable 95 percent of the money and 74 percent of the bets are calling for a low-scoring contest that features no more than nine runs. There is also a lot of love for Toronto. A total of 95 percent of the handle is on the Jays’ -1.5 run line.
