We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday night, including action from the NFL preseason, MLS and MLB.

Two picks are taken from the MLB with 1 coming from the NFL preseason and MLS. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1098 with BetMGM; that’s more than 10/1! Let’s break down each of these plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

MLB pick: Detroit Tigers vs Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (-140), 7:07pm ET

The Jays start this important homestand with their best arm on the hill. Lefty Robbie Ray has been great this season. He is 6th in the Majors strikeouts and 11th in ERA and his newfound control has enabled him to have sustained success. Homers have hurt him but the Tigers do not have a lot of power hitters to worry about. He has only given up 2 runs in 12 innings at the Rogers Centre this season.

I love Ray and the Jays at home and expect them to tee off on the lefty Tyler Alexander, so there is no reason to sweat taking them on the run line. Even if the bullpen is shaky, the Tigers will struggle to come all the way back. Take Toronto.

NFL preseason pick: Kansas City Chiefs vs Arizona Cardinals – Under 41 points (-115), 8pm ET

After the under dominated Week 1 of preseason it looks a good wager in this game with particular attention given to the fact that this is the highest points line of the week. The Chiefs’ ground game struggled against the 49ers, and again too much may be made of the fact that Patrick Mahomes will feature in some capacity. Even if the Chiefs score touchdowns in their first two drives, it is unlikely we see their starters feature beyond that and it is still a tall order to reach this total.

Seven of Arizona’s last 8 preseason games have seen fewer than 41 points scored, and that trend is unlikely to change. Expect points to be at a premium in this one.

MLB pick: Pittsburgh Pirates vs St. Louis Cardinals – Over 8.5 runs (-115), 8:15pm ET

Coming off a set of major injuries and having hardly pitched at all in 2 years, there’s no telling which version of Mike Mikolas will show up. It’s likely that no matter what, he won’t be asked to go deeper than 5.0 innings. The more frames the Cardinals give to their bullpen, the more opportunities they create for disaster to strike. After all, the St. Louis relief corps consists of guys who throw gas, often with no idea where it’s going.

With Mitch Keller you know what you’re going to get, and it’s nothing pretty–his WHIP on the season is 1.85, meaning he allows almost 2 men to reach base safely every inning. Even with a team as bad offensively as the Pirates are, it’s still surprising to see a total set this low. The over could cash by the 5th inning in this one.

MLS pick: San Jose Earthquakes Win or Tie (+100) vs LA Galaxy, 10:30pm ET

The LA Galaxy dropped another frustrating decision at home on Tuesday, falling 3-1 to Colorado. They’ll host a San Jose team they beat on June 26, Chicharito’s last game, but the Earthquakes have yet to lose in their 9 outings since then. They’ve won just twice, but those have come against good teams in Seattle and LAFC, and their 7 ties, while failing to provide a significant boost in the standings, do show that San Jose can play to any team’s level over a full 90 minutes. Improve your chances and take a tie or a San Jose win.
