We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Wednesday, including picks from the MLB and MLS. Three picks are taken from the MLB with one pick from MLS. A winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1000 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: New York Yankees -1.5 (-165) over Cincinnati Reds, 7:05 pm ET

The projected starting pitchers for this game are Mike Minor for the Reds and Luis Severino for the Yankees. Minor came off the injured list in early June and hasn’t been able to settle into the season. He is 1-6 in 7 starts with an ERA of 6.63. His numbers fall drastically on the road, posting an ERA of 7.94.

Severino has been sharp, going 5-3 in 15 starts with an ERA of 3.11. The Yankees offense has been a juggernaut lately and should get to Minor early and often. In the last 15 days, the Yankees rank in the top 2 in team average, OBP and OPS. The Reds and Minor just don’t match up well against the Yankees, so backing the Yankees on the run line will be the play.

MLB: Cleveland Guardians ML (-105) over Chicago White Sox, 7:10 pm ET

The projected starters for this game are Lucas Giolito for the White Sox and Aaron Civale for the Guardians. The difference in these pitchers is how they have handled the season. Giolito is 5-5 in 15 starts with an ERA of 5.05. Civale, on the other hand, has watched his numbers drop month over month. The only reason he has a stat line of 2-5 in 11 starts with an ERA of 6.28 was due to his miserable April. His July is off to an amazing start, with an ERA of 3.46.

This game should be decided on the pitchers, as the offenses don’t provide an edge over one another. Civale has performed better as the season has gone on, therefore backing the Guardians will be the play.

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays ML (-190) over Boston Red Sox, 7:10 pm ET

The Rays will have one of the top AL Cy Young candidates on the mound with Shane McClanahan, while the Red Sox are starting Connor Seabold, who has just 3 starts this season and an 11.91 ERA. McClanahan is still the betting favorite on most sportsbooks for the AL Cy Young, and has already shown why against the Red Sox earlier this season. He held them to just 2 runs for 7.0 innings as the Rays went on to win that game at home.

The only reason McClanahan isn’t one of the few pitchers with 10 wins is the lack of run support in his last start. However, that should not be an issue against Boston’s Seabold and his double-digit ERA.

MLS: Toronto FC or draw double chance (+130) over Chicago Fire, 8:30 pm ET

Head-to-head Toronto have owned the Chicago Fire recently, remaining unbeaten in 14 straight contests. The Fire last defeated TFC in 2015. Earlier this year Toronto defeated Chicago 3-2 at BMO Field. Toronto have had their way with Chicago and at this price it’s hard not to bet it. Take the Toronto or draw double chance to be safe.
