We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday, including picks from the MLB, EPL, MLS and PLL. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +970 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle United – Over 2.5 goals (+100), 10:00 am ET

Nottingham Forest’s first Premier League game since 1999 sees them visiting Newcastle on Saturday and there could be plenty of goals when the teams clash at St James’ Park. Four of the last 5 meetings between the clubs have featured over 3.5 goals and promoted Forest have added a number of exciting offensive options this summer including striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who netted 15 times for Union Berlin in the Bundesliga last year.

The Forest defense is still likely going to be trying to gel in their first game in the Premier League, while Newcastle was rock-solid at home after a midseason upturn in form last season and the home team look more likely to come out on top in a high-scoring game on Saturday morning.

PLL: Atlas vs Waterdogs – Under 24.5 goals (-115), 2:00 pm ET

Most people will look at this matchup and say that two of the best offenses in the league are playing each other means a lot of goals will be scored. However, that is never really the case. In fact, these two teams tend to lean towards more low-scoring affairs when they play other “good” teams.

The Waterdogs and the Atlas are both 3-1 to the under this season when playing a team that currently boasts a winning record. In games where the total is set at 24.5, both teams are 2-1 to the under. Add in the fact that both defenses have been playing very well recently, and I think we have all the ingredients for an under.

MLB: Houston Astros ML (-155) over Cleveland Guardians, 6:10 pm ET

Houston opened up this series with a shutout win behind ace Justin Verlander back on Thursday, and should have another great game on Saturday. Houston has the 2nd-best overall team ERA and the absolute best bullpen ERA in the league. Starter Luis Garcia has been a part of that success, and led the team to 2 of their recent wins over the Yankees. That’s the opposite experience that Cleveland starter Cal Quantrill has had, as he’s lost to both the Yankees and the Astros this season. Houston won that previous series and should be on their way to winning this one as well.

MLS: Philadelphia Union vs FC Cincinnati – Over 2.5 goals (-135), 7:30 pm ET

Cincinnati’s trend of high-scoring MLS games this season continued last time out with a 4-4 tie against Inter Miami, whose main marksman Gonzalo Higuain scored his first hat-trick for the club. However, Cincinnati’s defense is still unreliable, though, and their 23 MLS games this season have produced an incredible 79 goals, meaning their matches are averaging 3.4 goals per game.

The goal total should go above that average when they clash with Philadelphia on Saturday, given that the Union are one of the most free-scoring teams in MLS and are fresh off a 6-0 thrashing of the Houston Dynamo. For that reason, backing the over 2.5 will be the safest play for this parlay on Saturday night.
