There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Friday, including at Belmont Park race track. Here are five runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. Let’s dive in and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.

3:34 pm Belmont Park (Race 6) – Brilliant Brooks +250

Looks capable of delivering a winning effort having demonstrated good form in recent months winning once and placing three times from four starts so far in 2021. Performed well when third over seven furlongs at this track last time out and can register a victory under Irad Ortiz.

4:07 pm Belmont Park (Race 7) – Firenze Fire +200

Performed well in graded stakes events in New York in recent times and he looks capable of registering a victory in this event having taken the Grade 3 Runhappy Sakes by three-and-a-quarter lengths at this track last month. Taken to register back-to-back wins in this competiitive looking Grade 3 contest.

4:40 pm Belmont Park (Race 8) – Victim Of Love +350

Winner of both of her previous starts at this track most recently when taking out the Grade 3 Vagrancy Handicap over an extended six furlongs here last month. Step up in trip shouldn’t prove to be an issue and she can complete a double for trainer Todd Beattie.

5:15 pm Belmont Park (Race 9) – Harvey’s Lil Goil +300

Demonstrated good form when finishing third in last years Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Keeneland. Had just one subsequent start with that coming when winning by half-a-length in a Grade 3 over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here last month. Can take this for Bill Mott and jockey Junior Alvardo.

5:48 pm Belmont Park (Race 10) – Baron Samedi +160

Proven himself to be a useful stayer in Ireland including when winning over 1m6f in the Group 3 Vintage Crop Stakes earlier this year. Represents a yard who have done well on the international stage in recent years and he can register a victory stepping up in distance.
