There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Tuesday, including at Parx race track. Here are four runners whom we think look to be a class above the opposition in their respective races. Let’s dive and take a look at some potentially lucrative plays.
12:55 pm Parx (Race 1) – Our Sweet Girl +200
Well-held to start off 2021 but has improved for the switch to Parx, second in a claimer on course debut before a comfortable success in a starter optional claiming race. Stretching away under steady handling, that run suggested she had plenty more improvement in the locker. Tactically versatile and still unexposed after just a handful of starts, she can notch up another success under Frankie Pennington.
4:04 pm Parx (Race 8) – Flight To Shanghai +350
Has been given some tough tasks since graduating at Monmouth Park at the second try, including a tilt at the Florida Oaks earlier this year. She subsequently contested allowance company at Gulfstream, where she acquitted herself well, finishing second on the latter occasion. Drawn well to attack from gate three, these are calmer waters for Jane Cibelli’s filly. Jockey Mychel Sanchez is in great form and she should prove far too strong at this level.
4:31 pm Parx (Race 9) – B B’s Busted +800
Scored in allowance company at Monmouth Park last summer, running well in defeat subsequently. She ended her 2020 campaign with a pair of runs at Parx, finishing fourth on the former occasion in an allowance optional claiming race. She’s been absent since November, but her recent work has been positive and she’s run well off the layoff in the past. Her peak performances puts her into the discussion and the recent good form of Ernesto Padilla-Preciado stable has to be noted. At a big price, she’s one to take very seriously.
