There is plenty of great horse racing action to look forward to across America on Monday, including at Parx race track. 12:10 pm Parx (Race 1) – Flatexcel 2/1
Completed a hat-trick when winning a claiming event at Delaware Park at the start of October. Hasn’t been in the same form in two subsequent starts including when eighth in a mile event at this circuit just under a month ago. Was a winner in this lower grade back in September and he looks up to providing trainer Jamie Ness with a victory in the opening race on the card following a solid 48.80 four furlong breeze at Delaware Park.
12:37 pm Parx (Race 2) – Cup Of Life 9/5
Placed third on all three completed starts including when beaten nine-and-three-quarter-lengths in a waiver maiden claiming race over six furlongs on her first start at this venue in October. Had previously pulled up having chased the pace in a six furlong maiden claimer at Monmouth Park the previous month. Gets a drop in grade for this contest and is taken to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking with Julio Hernandez booked to ride.
2:25 pm Parx (Race 6) – Instafamous 2/1
Guadalupe Preciado’s charge takes the eye in the sixth race on the card following a string of second place finishes at this venue. The most recent of those came when beaten half-a-length having attempted to make all in a six furlong starter optional claiming race at the start of last month. Delivered a career best figure that day and he can defy a wide draw to deliver a victory stepping back up to seven furlongs under Mychel Sanchez.
