12:50 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 1) – Fast Buck Freddy 9/5 (2-star play)

By the budget sire Fast Anna the three-year-old colt has delivered some eye-catching performances in the mornings of late including when registering a 1:01.21 at Saratoga in his penultimate timed work. The selection is drawn widest of all here racing on lasix ahead of his debut but that should not prove too much of an issue with the booking of top jockey Irad Ortiz taking the eye on the selections first outing for the Jorge R Abreu barn.

1:55 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 3) – Meteorite 6/5 (2-star play)

Purchased for $250,000 as a two-year-old at the Ocala Bloodstock Sales the Malibu Moon colt showed plenty of ability when making his debut in a mile maiden special weight at Aqueduct last month. The colt raced from the front in the early stages to deliver a highly promising first effort.  A wide draw isn’t ideal here but he is expected to have improved for that debut experience and looks up to breaking his maiden at the second time of asking.

2:28 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 4) – In Italian 1/2 (3-star play)

Chad Brown’s mare has won three of her last four outings with two of those coming at the highest level. The British-bred daughter of Dubawi made all the running when delivering a three length success in the Jenny Wiley over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Keeneland in April. Freshedn since that effort she comes here on the back of two solid works on the training track here and looks up to registering a victory dropping slightly in distance.

4:41 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 8) – War Like Goddess 6/5 (2-star play)

Trained by Bill Mott the daughter of English Channel ended last year with a third in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf over a mile-and-a-half at Keeneland in early January. The six-year-old resumed this time around with a vicotry over the same distance at Keeneland at the end of April. The pick recorded a 50.65 four furlong work on the main track here earlier this month and is taken to cement her place as the countries top female turf runner.

5:14 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 9) – Munnys Gold 9/5 (2-star play)

An impressive winner of her first three starts she lost her unbeaten record when going down by a head in the seven furlong Eight Belles Stakes, a Grade 2 event over seven furlongs at Churchill Downs in early May. The Munnings fillies latest victory had marked front-running efforts marked her out as a potential Grade performer with the pick deivering a seventeen-and-a-quarter length victory under her jockey here Irad Ortiz in a minor stakes contest at Tampa Bay downs in March.
