1:32 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 2) – Runaway Rumour 9/5 (2-star play)
The winner of 2 of his 3 starts on the Widener Turf course at Belmont, Runaway Rumour delivered a 4 3/4-length 5th in the Grade 3 Beaugay Stakes over a mile and 1/16th on the Inner Turf Course at this venue earlier this month.
Returning from a short break on that occasion and dropping to a state-bred stakes event, the daughter of Flintshire looks capable of recording her first victory in just under a year with jockey Jose Lezcano booked for the ride.
3:34 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 6) – Bank Sting 7/5 (2-star play)
Bank Sting completed an Aqueduct hat-trick when registering a neck triumph in the Listed Heavenly Prize Invitational Stakes over a mile on the main track in early March.
She could finish only 4th when unable to hold a prominent position in the Grade 2 Ruffian Stakes on a muddy track at Belmont subsequently, but switched to an easier contest she is taken to record a victory for trainer John P Terranova II having delivered a 49.28 4-furlong breeze a week ago.
4:06 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 7) – Yo Cruz Evs (3-star play)
Yo Cruz completed a hat-trick when delivering an impressive 5 3/4-length victory in the 7-furlong East View Stakes at the end of March. She suffered a shock defeat having been unable to dominate following a stumble at the start over 6 1/2 furlongs subsequently, however.
Granted a smooth start this time, she looks up to winning with jockey Joel Rosario taking over in the saddle for handler Bill Mott.
