A six time winner in a 20 race career the Macho Uno mare has won twice so far this campaign including when drawing clear of her rivals in the straight when making all in the Natural State Breeders’ Stakes over a mile at Oaklawn Park just under two months ago. The return to the mile trip is a positive having faded late on over a sixteenth further here last month and she can provide jockey Tyler Gaffalione with a winner.
3:18 pm Churchill Downs (Race 6) – Red Knobs 2/1 (2-star play)
Has shown good placed form at this venue finishing on the board in four of his five starts here including when third, beaten four-and-three-quarter-lengths in a $50,000 starter event over six furlongs here last month. Gets a drop in grade here and while his previous efforts over this trip have been nothing special he performed well at this level when runner-up over seven furlongs here on his penultimate start and is taken to double his career tally.

Showed good form in Graded stakes last year following up a second in the Grade 2 Saratoga Special over six-and-a-half-furlongs at Saratoga with an impressive five-and-three-quarter-length success in the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes over seven furlongs at the same venue last September. Made a pleasing return to action when runner-up over this track and trip in an allowance optional claimer and is selected to make a winning return to stakes company following a 49:40 four furlong breeze at this venue.
